We used Kristen Cloyd Photography for our wedding and engagement photos and we are so happy we did! Kristen was so wonderful to work with. I don't usually like having my photo taken, but she made it fun and also made me feel confident that I looked good. Her style of photography is amazing as well. We really love the soft colors and her attention to the lighting really impressed me. What also stood out is that she went to tour the venue and our hotel before our wedding to get more familiar with it and find some amazing places for photos. She really went the extra mile! On the day of our wedding she brought a second photographer, Alex, to help catch the action and she was great as well! They were both very upbeat and kept the photos moving along. We never felt uncomfortable or awkward despite our inexperience with being photographed. Over all we're very happy we chose Kristen Cloyd!

Kristen was absolutely amazing! From the first time I connected with her over the phone, to our initial meeting, follow up conversations and of course the actual wedding day, she was ON TOP OF IT! She also even helped us with ideas for the day of timeline (as far as photography goes) to make sure we didn't miss any special moments and everything flowed seamlessly. Kristen was creative with shots, knew how to wrangle our group and captured some absolutely amazing moments. My husband and I cannot say enough nice things about our experience and look forward to seeing more pictures as they arrive! Thank you Kristen!

Oh boy... 5 Stars is an understatement!!!! Kristen was more than just our photographer, she was my right-hand woman through the entire wedding planning process. She did everything from give us vendor recommendations, to late night check-ins when she knew my brain was overloaded, to simply being an ear. Kristen wanted to know every detail of our wedding to make sure that we as the Bride & Groom didn't have to think//worry on the big day. And let me tell you she was more than successful! I have never met someone like Kirsten. She takes such pride in her work but more so such has elegance in making us laugh, cry and twirl in front of the camera. There truly aren’t adequate words to express how incredible Kristen is, both professionally and as an individual. They say to “shop around” for a photographer before you choose one, but I’m here to tell you not to risk missing an opportunity to have her on your team by shopping around. If she isn’t available for your date, MOVE YOUR DATE. She is so much more than a photographer. She helps with vendors, timelines, and so much more. I felt like I was hanging out with a longtime friend. Kristen is responsive, professional, kind, and down to earth. I am so thankful we had the joy of meeting her and spending our (mini) wedding day with her. All of the above words and I haven’t even gotten to her photography yet! Her light and airy editing style is so elegant and timeless. I was anxious before the big day and texted her my worries. She went out of her way to ease my mind and work with me throughout photos so that I was comfortable & I know the images will reflect the way I felt. Highly, highly, highly recommend! Best decision we made regarding our entire wedding process.

Kristen is absolutely amazing! We booked with Kristen for our 2020 wedding, which was moved twice and finally happened May 2021. Throughout the entire process of rescheduling, she was supportive and always quick to respond. Leading up to our wedding day, Kristen was SO organized and on top of the wedding day timeline, ensuring we would capture the moments that meant the most to us. Throughout the wedding day, we received numerous compliments on the photographers. Kristen kept our family portraits moving at a steady pace and she was so fun to work with during the bridal party and bride/groom shots. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer in the Chicagoland, I strongly recommend booking with Kristen!

My first photography experience with Kristen was when she shot a wedding I was a bridesmaid in. I knew then and there she had to be my wedding photographer. She is SO talented. My wedding photos turned out to be absolutely phenomenal. Aside from being the best photographer EVER, she is also the kindest and sweetest person you'll ever meet! My wedding day was a bit chaotic but she was such a calming presence. Kristen is AMAZING and I highly recommend her for any event!

Choosing Kristen to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we made for our big day! Kristen is kind, organized and truly became a friend throughout our planning process. Not only is Kristen an amazing photographer, but she makes the process so easy! My husband was completely turned off by the idea of hours of photos on our wedding day, and he loved our experience thanks to the relationship we built with Kristen. On our wedding day she made us feel like the most special couple in the world. She came early to photograph our details (which turned out gorgeous!!) and moved through the day with us with ease and poise. When our original first look location needed to be changed due to rain, she quickly found us an alternative location nearby. When we needed a break she quickly sensed it, and gave us a breather. When it was time for family portraits, she was kind and accommodating to our families and helped us move through that part of our day quickly and efficiently. I truly could not recommend Kristen more. She was unbelievable to work with. We loved our experience, and are thankful she was able to be a part of the day!

I will be forever grateful that we hired Kristen as our wedding photographer. After our first meeting with Kristen, I knew she would be the perfect fit. She really prioritized what was important to us as a couple. We received 100 sneak-peek photos within 48 hours of our wedding and we loved every single one.
