Kristen was absolutely amazing!!!! Our photos are better than I ever could have dreamed. From the start, she was so personable, smart and kind. She held a Zoom to get to know us better and sent many questionnaires to make sure she knew exactly what we were looking for. The wedding day would not have been the same without her. She helped me stay so calm while making sure we got all the photos we wanted. I cannot say enough good things about working with her and I cannot wait to work with her again for future photography needs!!!
Kristen was hands down our favorite wedding vendor. She took engagement and wedding photos for us, and they are absolutely stunning. My husband is not someone who was looking forward to all of the engagement/ wedding photos, and when they were done he couldn’t stop talking about how much fun he had. Kristen made us feel so at ease and comfortable, and it translates in the pictures what a great time we were having. She was incredibly organized, communicative, and kind throughout our wedding planning and on our wedding day. Our friends and family can’t stop talking about how much they love our photos. We are so glad we got to work with Kristen!
We loved working with Kristen Cloyd for our wedding and engagement photography. She is incredibly talented and professional. When looking for a photographer for our wedding day, we wanted to make sure that we went with someone that would make us feel comfortable by being ourselves. Kristen was the perfect fit. During our engagement photos, she worked with us to create some beautiful memories which we incorporated into our wedding website, save the dates, and wedding invitations. I was really impressed with Kristen when she offered to do our detail pictures before the wedding day which added time back to our wedding day photography timeline. She was incredibly flexible with our schedules and the sneak peeks of the detail shots are incredible. I can’t wait to see the rest and glad these pictures weren’t rushed on the wedding day. Fast forward to wedding day, Kristen showed up on time and got right into organizing the shot list. We have a bigger, blended family so it was a lot to coordinate, but Kristen handled it so well. She made sure all of my photography combinations were met throughout the day and was extremely flexible when timelines changed. Kristen is not just a wedding vendor to us; she is a friend. She has emotional intelligence that is unmatched. When the timelines went a little longer than anticipated, she recognized my uncomfortableness and reassured me that everything would be okay. She cares about her couples and I can say I’ve witnessed it first-hand. We could not imagine our wedding day without Kristen. We would highly recommend Kristen Cloyd Photography.
We worked with Kristen for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding celebration in Chicago and we’d recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for an amazing photographer. I will be forever grateful that we hired Kristen as our wedding photographer. After our first meeting with Kristen, I knew she would be the perfect fit. She is so charismatic, thoughtful, organized, and knowledgable. Throughout the entire planning process, Kristen went above and beyond. Kristen was essential in helping us build a timeline for our wedding exactly how we wanted. The day of our wedding Kristen was organized, timely and quick to adjust when needed. She quickly adjusted our timeline when rain was in the forecast, without me even worrying or knowing! Kristen did a great job checking in with us throughout the day to make sure we were up for more photos or if we needed a break. Our whole bridal party and family loved working with her. She really prioritized what was important to us as a couple. We received 100 sneak-peek photos within 48 hours of our wedding and we loved every single one. Kristen is a timeless photographer who truly cares about her couples. I cannot recommend her enough! Thank you Kristen!
Choosing Kristen to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we made for our big day! Kristen is kind, organized and truly became a friend throughout our planning process. Not only is Kristen an amazing photographer, but she makes the process so easy! My husband was completely turned off by the idea of hours of photos on our wedding day, and he loved our experience thanks to the relationship we built with Kristen. On our wedding day she made us feel like the most special couple in the world. She came early to photograph our details (which turned out gorgeous!!) and moved through the day with us with ease and poise. When our original first look location needed to be changed due to rain, she quickly found us an alternative location nearby. When we needed a break she quickly sensed it, and gave us a breather. When it was time for family portraits, she was kind and accommodating to our families and helped us move through that part of our day quickly and efficiently. I truly could not recommend Kristen more. She was unbelievable to work with. We loved our experience, and are thankful she was able to be a part of the day!
My first photography experience with Kristen was when she shot a wedding I was a bridesmaid in. I knew then and there she had to be my wedding photographer. She is SO talented. My wedding photos turned out to be absolutely phenomenal. Aside from being the best photographer EVER, she is also the kindest and sweetest person you'll ever meet! My wedding day was a bit chaotic but she was such a calming presence. Kristen is AMAZING and I highly recommend her for any event!
There truly aren’t adequate words to express how incredible Kristen is, both professionally and as an individual. They say to “shop around” for a photographer before you choose one, but I’m here to tell you not to risk missing an opportunity to have her on your team by shopping around. If she isn’t available for your date, MOVE YOUR DATE. She is so much more than a photographer. She helps with vendors, timelines, and so much more. I felt like I was hanging out with a longtime friend. Kristen is responsive, professional, kind, and down to earth. I am so thankful we had the joy of meeting her and spending our (mini) wedding day with her. All of the above words and I haven’t even gotten to her photography yet! Her light and airy editing style is so elegant and timeless. I was anxious before the big day and texted her my worries. She went out of her way to ease my mind and work with me throughout photos so that I was comfortable & I know the images will reflect the way I felt. Highly, highly, highly recommend! Best decision we made regarding our entire wedding process.
Kristen is absolutely amazing! We booked with Kristen for our 2020 wedding, which was moved twice and finally happened May 2021. Throughout the entire process of rescheduling, she was supportive and always quick to respond. Leading up to our wedding day, Kristen was SO organized and on top of the wedding day timeline, ensuring we would capture the moments that meant the most to us. Throughout the wedding day, we received numerous compliments on the photographers. Kristen kept our family portraits moving at a steady pace and she was so fun to work with during the bridal party and bride/groom shots. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer in the Chicagoland, I strongly recommend booking with Kristen!
Oh boy... 5 Stars is an understatement!!!! Kristen was more than just our photographer, she was my right-hand woman through the entire wedding planning process. She did everything from give us vendor recommendations, to late night check-ins when she knew my brain was overloaded, to simply being an ear. Kristen wanted to know every detail of our wedding to make sure that we as the Bride & Groom didn't have to think//worry on the big day. And let me tell you she was more than successful! I have never met someone like Kirsten. She takes such pride in her work but more so such has elegance in making us laugh, cry and twirl in front of the camera. Our Wedding Day was absolute perfection and I truly do give credit to this wonderful human, Kristen! THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU! Cheers to you and our life long photography dreams coming true.
