18 years I have been working in the wedding industry for more than 18 years. I began my career at a time when professional wedding planning was only starting to emerge in Ukraine, and I was fortunate to become one of the country’s first wedding planners. In those early years, the role of a wedding planner was still unfamiliar to many couples. Part of my work was not only to organise beautiful celebrations, but also to introduce people to an entirely new approach—to show them the value of professional planning, thoughtful design and a carefully curated guest experience. In many ways, I was helping to shape both the industry and a new appreciation for weddings created with intention, taste and attention to every detail.
