My name is Mahesh Bansa, and I am the founder of Beyond Destiny, a photography business based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, with nearly 12 years of experience in photography. Although Beyond Destiny is well known for wedding photography, I usually describe myself as a Family Photographer. To me, photography has always been about more than capturing a single wedding day. Our journey with a couple may begin with their engagement or wedding, but very often it continues as their family grows. We may photograph their wedding through Beyond Destiny, later capture their children and family milestones through Minions by BD - made with love by Beyond Destiny, while Colombo Wedding Films (CWF) adds another dimension to their story through videography. Over the years, this journey has also grown into a team effort.
