THE KT was founded in Vietnam by Khánh and Thịnh. We actually came to photography through architecture, which has had a lasting influence on the way we see. Architecture taught us to pay attention to space, proportion, light, composition and, perhaps most importantly, the relationship between people and their surroundings. Photography gradually became another way for us to explore those ideas, but with something architecture could not give us in the same way: human emotion and the unpredictability of real life. What began with the two of us has gradually grown into a photography house and a team of photographers sharing the same visual values. Today, THE KT photographs weddings and celebrations across Vietnam and internationally. Working across different cultures and destinations has shaped us enormously, but we remain deeply connected to where we come from. We see THE KT as a Vietnamese photography house with an international perspective.
