20 years Hi, I'm Yvonne. I moved from London to Germany in 2017 and reconnected with the language I grew up speaking, rediscovering a heritage that had always been part of me. That blend of familiar and new shapes how I work today. With fifteen years and over six hundred ceremonies, I create bilingual English and German ceremonies across the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy, including elopements in South Tyrol and the Dolomites. I've been recognised for four consecutive years at the International Wedding Awards and recently won the UK Guides for Brides Customer Service Award 2026. Authenticity, inclusivity and storytelling matter most to me. I love weaving in small, precious details, a family wedding ring, handfasting ties using lace from a vintage wedding dress, so every ceremony feels entirely yours. Away from work I live in Potsdam, tend an English rose garden of sixty five David Austin roses, and enjoy walks in our parks and "Kaffee und Kuchen" with friends.

Yvonne, thank you for putting together such a wonderful personalised wedding ceremony for us! You werent given much time (about a week if I remember rightly) to pull everything together, from chatting with us to see if we were the right fit, to writing a personalised ceremony w/c we wouldnt change in a million years, even given more time. We will always think of you fondly & I have been telling a lot of people about you & what you do! Yvonne was a breath of fresh air! Immediately upon meeting her over zoom, she made us feel at home and made the decision of choosing her as our Celebrant incredibly easy! On the search for our perfect wedding celebrant, my now husband found Yvonne through online research. Liam is from England, I am from Germany, and we both live in Australia. The wedding location was in a remote part of Germany and we were expecting around half of the guests coming from England, Ireland and Australia, the other half from Germany, so we needed someone who could speak both languages perfectly and who we would also click with. Upon our first conversation with Yvonne, we knew that she was the one for us. She is just lovely, she speaks both English and German perfectly, and she made the entire process super easy for us. Our guests were just as impressed with Yvonne as we were, some of them asking us after the ceremony how we managed to find her and even wondering if we knew her personally because thats how wonderful she brought our story across to our guests.
