The F Lab Planner

I love the way The F Lab works, I love how they understand me, how they understand my flaws, and how they care for and pamper me. It's been a while since I wrote something rambling, but I should write a little about my wedding, right?

How long does it take for people to find a wedding planner for their own wedding? For me, it was quick; in a flash, it was The F Lab, and the photos were taken by NukiA Studio.

Many people ask me why The F Lab? Why NukiA? Maybe they know someone? The answer is no. I'm someone who doesn't like to overthink things, but I always have a plan, so when needed, I always know what I need. My wedding was the same. To this day, I'm still incredibly proud of that choice.

Without any prior planning for the wedding, I approached The F Lab with just one sentence: "I'm fine with anything, as long as I look beautiful," and I ended up with a wedding that couldn't have been more fulfilling. Those days wandering the streets of Saigon in the scorching sun and sudden rain showers, trying on clothes, fittings, or attending unexpected meetings and requests, made me deeply appreciate and be grateful to Ms. Minh in particular and the entire FLab team in general.

At the D-date, I was nervous and anxious, but Ms. Minh always said, "I'm here, everyone's here, you just need to shine," which made me realize that whatever happens, it's okay as long as it's the right people.

I love the way The F Lab works, I love how they understand me, how they understand my weaknesses, and how they care for and pamper me. I love, cherish, and am very grateful to them.

Dear Team F Lab - especially Yen, Mai, Chau & Giang, although our wedding was almost 4 months ago, I still wanted to write this super-late testimonial to thank everyone again, because I loved my wedding so much!!

The first person I met from Team F Lab was Giang. The first time we met her, we felt very secure entrusting our entire wedding to her :)) Giang encouraged me to talk to other companies to see which one suited us best, and I did, but I still came back to F Lab because I didn't find anywhere else as reliable. Thank you so much, Giang, for always sharing and advising us so wholeheartedly.

Please allow me to switch to using "I" to continue thanking Yen - the main character who helped us realize our dream wedding. I remember the first time I met Yen was in April 2021. And yet, she literally drove me around on her motorbike, going back and forth between wedding dress shops for over a year and a half, braving the sun and rain. I'm not sure if I was the longest-staying bride because of COVID, but congratulations to her for successfully closing the deal! :)) Because she's been with us for such a long time, Yen has become a true friend. Sometimes she's witnessed my tantrums about canceling the wedding, other times she's taken me out for snails and we talked about our budding romance. We had a beautiful wedding thanks to Yen's advice, especially the wedding bouquet idea!! Brilliant!! Wishing Yen finds her one soon and becomes a bling-bling princess at her wedding!

Finally, we want to thank Mai and Chau very much for their dedicated and professional support. They're so cool and artistic, we admire them so much. The wedding was a great success thanks in large part to your careful attention to detail. Wishing you both much luck on your wedding planning journey ahead!

We were so busy announcing the good news to both sides of the family after the wedding that we only had time to chat with my sisters today. I want to send my thanks and a big hug to my dear sister Giang Bé (Giang Phạm). It feels like just yesterday we first met to discuss the wedding. I still remember telling Tuấn that even though I had just met Giang, I felt so much trust in her. She was gentle, thoughtful, youthful, and most importantly, very much to our liking. Throughout the time we worked together, Giang always took such good care of me. She always listened and understood my thoughts in a very subtle way.

Our meeting was a stroke of luck that I cherish very much. Thank you, Ms. Giang, for helping me have a beautiful and romantic wedding, exactly as Tuan and I wished! A very complete, meaningful, and smooth wedding despite the rain, the tight schedule, and many unforeseen incidents, big and small. Ms. Giang always kept the bride in a super positive mood, allowing me to fully enjoy my wedding. Thanks to Ms. Giang, Ms. Chau, and the F Lab team, I felt incredibly at ease and was truly able to be in the moment and enjoy the day. I also thank Ms. Chau very much for taking such thoughtful care of the groom's team.

Our family had a very happy day. You all worked so hard, and we hope you have a very happy New Year's holiday! We thank you and love you all so much!

Dear Yen & Thuy!
I'm writing this while sitting on a plane from Hanoi back to London, returning to my normal daily life. I'll miss you all so much, especially Thuy, who said she was chased by you guys, haha. I keep telling Duc to get married again, saying it's so much fun, so great, and so wonderful because Yen and Thuy are taking care of everything. So, when we have our anniversary party, you definitely have to take care of us too!

People often talk about "dream weddings," but honestly, before meeting you all, I never thought about my own wedding, so I didn't have any expectations or dreams. But what you all helped me achieve on March 3rd was truly a dream that I have never dreamed about.

In the days leading up to the wedding, so many people asked me if I was stressed, why I was so relaxed. I always replied that because I had a team of wedding planners taking care of everything, there was nothing to worry about, so of course I was relaxed. So, three days before the wedding, I was still taking my foreign friends to Ha Long Bay for a wild party without a care in the world, because I trusted Yen and Thuy 100%.

Even on the wedding day itself, we didn't have to worry about anything at all; we just relaxed and enjoyed the day. If anyone asked me what we had to do or worry about on our wedding day, I'd be speechless, because all I had to do was smile. If I smiled for too long, don't worry, Chau would always be there to keep me company. My friend even told me that she saw Yen suddenly drop her bag and run to adjust my dress, which shows just how thoughtful and caring they were. And Thuy was always busy running around dealing with the vendors, but she never forgot to give me some really great playlists that everyone wanted to dance along to.

I also want to thank the entire The F Lab team, Yen, Thuy, Chau, and Mai, the unsung heroes who not only took care of us that day but also ensured all our guests had such a meaningful and joyful day. Everyone praised how smoothly and meaningfully everything went, from the program, the dinner party, the playlist, to our partying session. I know it wouldn't have been possible if I hadn't listened to Duc and chosen F Lab company in the first place.

Well, I have to conclude now. We will forever be thankful for knowing you all in our lives. And if we ever have a serious argument in the future, I'll remember the contributions of Yen, Thuy, and everyone else on March 3rd, 2024 – the most beautiful day of our lives – and I'm sure we won't argue anymore. I wish you all the best and hope you find love with many more couples, so that other couples can have an amazing and joyful wedding like ours!

There was nothing the team weren’t willing to do to ease our minds and we will be forever grateful to the crew for their hard work and dedication.

We initially contacted Giang and the F Lab team in 2019 to plan our wedding for the year after in 2020. In our research in finding a planner, they say you know as soon as you speak to the right one, and we did. Giang was so comfortable to talk to, like a long-lost friend almost! COVID added a 2 year wait to our plans and call it fate or luck, they were still available for our wedding date in 2022.

Destination weddings can be more difficult at times, you tend to rely on your wedding planner more than you would for weddings which are closer to home. For us in Sydney, organising a wedding in Nha Trang without the help of an experienced wedding planner would have been impossible. Giang and her team made planning and choosing a theme a breeze, she almost knew what we wanted before we did and if she didn’t have the right solution the first time, she was determined to find it for us.

Not only was the F Lab professional throughout, they were there when we needed them in the most personal of times, as they say a friend in need is a friend indeed! There was nothing the team weren’t willing to do to ease our minds and we will be forever grateful to the crew for their hard work and dedication.

After all is said and done, we couldn’t have been happier with our wedding and it was largely due to the tireless work of Giang, the F Lab team and the various vendors that were involved. We started this as Client and Planner, but we ended as close friends. We would like to thank Giang, Chau, Minh and Yen for making our special day so memorable.
