11 years I am the co-founder of Prana Wedding & Events, a destination wedding planning and design company based in Colombia. My journey in the wedding industry began 11 years ago when I was just 18 years old and studying Business Administration at university. What started as a passion project quickly grew into a career and eventually into the company Prana is today. Six years ago, my husband joined the business as a wedding planner, and together we now lead Prana, creating meaningful celebrations for couples from around the world. I will never forget the first wedding I planned in 2015. The groom was from Peru and the bride was from Medellín. I was very young, but I poured my heart into every detail. At the end of the wedding, the bride’s mother told me that I had a bright future in this industry. Those words stayed with me and gave me confidence that I had found my true calling.
