My wife and I made many decisions when planning our wedding, but the best one we made was hiring Ruby. We hired her to do both our planning and be our Emcee. Even though my wife speaks Mandarin, I only speak English, so it was great that Ruby is bilingual, and was able to work with both of us, so that my wife and I could share in the duties of decision making.
The planning was great, we absolutely loved the venue that Ruby suggested, and she was really on top of all of the details. Without her, I'm sure it would have been an extremely stressful experience to plan, but we really felt like we could count on Ruby to organize everything.
During the ceremony itself, Ruby was great at getting the energy up and getting everyone involved. My brother remarked that he had never seen someone so good at engaging the audience! Also it felt like we had 50 people working on that day helping us make everything seamless. Ruby was able to run the ceremonies, guide her staff, and interact with our guests flawlessly.
I know during a wedding you should always plan for things to go wrong, but I was surprised at just how many things went right. If you are planning a wedding with some Mandarin speakers and some English speakers, or really any wedding at all, we highly recommend Ruby, you won't be disappointed!

Over the course of a year or so, it felt like she knew all our likes and dislikes, and understood our aspirations for the banquet we wanted to throw.
I liked how she provided us with choices and we just had to pick which vendors we liked, instead of us having to do the research. Because, let's be real, there's way too many vendors in Taiwan and as an ABC living in the States, there is no way I could have done the legwork.
I do think Ruby knows and recommends only the best of the best, but I strongly feel like we picked the best possible people for us. From our photographer to the videographer, even the xi bing company, and my florals, MUA, photobooth team... I loved each person I worked with the day of and will look back at this day fondly.

Ruby really took care of us from day 1. She took the time to get to know us. She was able to recommend vendors to us and we loved them all. Ruby’s network is extensive. We had picked Chalet V as our venue already and turned out that Ruby knew them well! The planning process was seamless and Ruby is very organized. She gave us a run of show doc to fill out and let us know what things to think about. We had time to craft our own playlists too.
Once we got to Taiwan, we were able to meet Ruby in person and she carved out extra time to listen to us talk about how we met and what not so she could speak genuinely about us at the reception. We also went to her for a Hail Mary on some wedding favors and she really pulled through for us! She did so much for us- we really felt no stress on the day and that’s because Ruby and her incredibly sweet team took care of us the whole time. Making sure we ate, helping me get changed, helping our guests etc.
Ruby was the perfect MC- so charismatic and sincere. Having a bi-lingual MC was the right call. In days after, friends and family would ask us how long we had been friends with Ruby. They were shocked to learn we’d just met through this whole planning process. I think that’s a testament to how Ruby really takes care of everyone. She has such a talent with hospitality and I’m really glad she found her calling in weddings. It’s hard to fit everything into a review so just know one of the best investments you can make is to have Ruby and her team!
