I’ve been in wedding planning for a little over three years now. It honestly started pretty randomly. Back then I was still working as an architect. But the moment that really pushed me into weddings happened totally unexpectedly. My first wedding wasn’t even planned. A friend of mine was getting married and everything was falling apart. The location was a mess, vendors were late, the design didn’t match her at all. The week before the wedding she called me literally in tears, asking if I could help. I just got in my car, drove over, and stayed up everyday until like 3 AM to fix the whole thing so the schedule, seating, speaking to vendors, the setup, basically everything. And the day of the wedding everything went so smoothly. At one point during the ceremony I just stood there looking at how everything came together and I had this feeling like: Okay… this is it. This is what I want to do.
