I am a habitat restoration ecologist, working to preserve nature when I am not doing photography! My husband and I live in a super old house, we love to do house projects during the off season. we have two horses, a dog, chickens, and two cats! my favorite thing to do on a weekend is to walk to my favorite local coffee shop. I love to ride my horses, be outside in my flower gardens, or reading a book! My photography business is my side hustle. I do not do it full time because I love my full time career in conservation!! photography started for me as a way to have a creative outlet. I have always been obsessed with capturing the beauty of life around me on camera so that I could capture the moment and how it felt and so I could go back later and look and remember. During Covid, I bought my first nice camera and as a way to support my mental health during that hard time, I would take pictures and I taught myself about lighting, composition, and color theory!
