Lyssa was the first person I interacted with on the day of my wedding and she really set the whole tone for the most amazing day! She brings great vibes as well as the utmost expertise with hair and makeup. She made me feel comfortable and taken care of and really listened to my vision and delivered above and beyond! I got sooooo many compliments on my hair and makeup and it lasted the WHOLE 15 hour day. I don't wear a lot of makeup normally, so I was worried about having it professionally done, but Lyssa really knows how to highlight your natural beauty. She made me look glowing while still looking like myself. I couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist! She also helped ease my nerves with her fun and vibrant personality! Definitely recommend!
I first met Lyssa during my boudoir shoot with Julie, and it was hands down my favorite hair and makeup experience I’ve ever had. Not only did I love the final look, but Lyssa immediately made me feel comfortable, confident, and completely at ease. When it came time to choose a hair and makeup artist for my wedding, booking with her was an easy decision—I already trusted her talent and knew I’d be in the best hands on such an important day.

Lyssa is hands down the best in her field. Makeup artist selection is one of the most important things on your wedding day so you feel like you! From the trail to the day she made me feel beautiful and I still looked like myself!! My bridesmaids and mothers also couldn’t get over how great they looked and felt (coming from people who never had professional makeup before). Her communication was amazing and her entire booking experience was easy! Thank you Lyssa!!!
I cannot thank Lyssa enough for the incredible experience she gave us for my wedding day. From the very beginning, she was warm, honest, and so easy to work with. During my trial, she listened carefully and wasn't afraid to share her professional input, which I appreciated so much—we ended up changing my hairstyle after seeing how it looked, and the final result was absolutely perfect. On the big day, she gave me the naturally glam look I had envisioned—elegant and timeless, while still feeling like me.

Lyssa and her team were so perfect for my wedding day! She was so accommodating after I had my first hair trial and I decided to switch my style. She was so kind and understanding when i said that i was having second thoughts about what i wanted. She helped me talk through what I liked and didn’t like and we nailed down the PERFECT style for me at my second trial. Lyssa and her team did all six of my bridesmaids and my mom and mother in law. Lyssa not only did an incredible job on me and my moms makeup and hair, but she was there long after to make sure my bridal portraits were perfect and even helped get me in my dress when we had some trouble with the buttons. I said multiple times I would have hired her just to be my hype girl and calming presence all day if I could have! She made me feel so at ease when I was the most excited/nervous for the day. I would recommend her and her team to any bride!
I had Lyssa from Evergreen Beauty at my wedding in Keezletown, VA perform hair and makeup. I'm very happy with the services she provided for myself (bride), my mom, and mother-in-law. She was professional, courteous, knowledgable, and knew exactly how to calm my mom's and mother-in-law's apprehension of never having their hair or makeup done.
Lyssa was incredible! I absolutely loved my hair and makeup for my wedding day, and all the ladies in my wedding party did too. I rarely wear makeup, and I really wanted to look like myself on my wedding day. Lyssa did an awesome job getting me comfortable with the process and making me look like me–just more glam. She was incredibly kind and helpful from the very first phone conversation we had. My hair and makeup trial were so wonderful–she worked with me when I didn’t know exactly what I wanted, and gently pressed me to be honest when I didn’t love an initial look. She gave me great advice when I was considering incorporating florals into my hair to help achieve the look I wanted without clashing with the rest of my look. On the day of the wedding, Lyssa and Courtney were exactly on time and perfectly prepared. They made everyone feel comfortable and beautiful (including the 7-year-old flower girl), and got everything done well within schedule. I could not have been happier with how everything turned out! If you’re considering Lyssa, DO IT!
I loved my wedding day makeup! Lyssa made us feel beautiful glammed up and most importantly to me ourselves. We wanted more or a natural makeup look and she did great.
Lyssa is a talented and professional hair and makeup artist. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted done with my hair, so during my trial, she took the basic description of what I was going for with my wedding and worked with me to create the perfect look. The trial with her was the first time I really felt like a bride, and she recreated that same experience for me on the morning of the wedding. She had to arrive very early in the morning for my wedding, and she showed up before she had to and was energized and ready to go. All of my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law raved about how well she and her team did with their hair and makeup. More so, they talked about how nice they were, which really makes a difference on wedding day! Everyone looked effortlessly beautiful. Working with Evergreen Beauty was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding.
Lyssa and Yisell were amazing! We had a group of 6 ladies for my wedding a few weeks ago and they did such a great job. Everyone looked so beautiful and felt great with their hair and makeup done. From the first email I had with Lyssa I could tell I made the right choice going with her and her team for my special day!
