Meagan was absolutely amazing. She was our wedding planner, hype woman, tour guide and photographer. We had such a special day, it was both intimate and break taking - it could not have been more perfect! Meagan was also so accomodating with extra family members, and we have photos that we will treasure forever.

We had a wonderful experience working with Meagan from Heli Weddings for our wedding in Queenstown.
From the very beginning, Meagan helped bring so many important pieces together for us. She introduced us to our wonderful celebrant, coordinated with the interpreter Zoe, and connected us with Chris the videographer from Toast Wedding Films. Her organisation and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and stress-free, and everything came together beautifully on the day.
We also added an additional photoshoot at Mount Cook, and the road trip there turned out to be one of the most fun and memorable parts of the whole experience. Meagan made the journey relaxed and enjoyable while still capturing incredible moments along the way.
We had also planned an astro shoot, but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate and it had to be postponed. Meagan very kindly offered us a refund, which we refused because my wife Tara absolutely loves working with her. If anything, it just gives us the perfect excuse to return to Queenstown again in the future.
Thank you, Meagan, for your care, creativity, and for going above and beyond to make our experience so special. We’re already looking forward to planning more shoots together.

We live on the Gold Coast and had never been to New Zealand, but the moment we saw a photo of Coromandel Peak, we both knew we wanted that as our backdrop if we were ever going to elope.
Honestly, our experience with Heli Weddings NZ was better than we could have imagined- truly one of the best days of our lives ❤️
From start to finish, Meagan was absolutely fantastic. She made the day seamless and perfect, she organised an amazing pilot, she connected us with the most wonderful celebrant Tracey who was so lovely (and great with our child when the photos were being taken) She arranged the flowers, and a hair and makeup artist who kept us looking flawless all day and night. Every single detail was coordinated to perfection and Meagan’s fun, energetic personality made the entire experience so enjoyable! We were able to completely relax and enjoy our day - totally stress-free, which is no small feat for two perfectionists like us!
Now, the photos… I’m a photographer, and they were incredibly important to me. I searched extensively before choosing Heli Weddings, and the photos exceeded all expectations. Absolutely stunning! I couldn’t have been happier.
I honestly cannot recommend Meagan and her team highly enough. If you’re considering eloping / a helicopter wedding in New Zealand… just do it!

Meagan and Gareth were absolutely phenomenal for making our wedding day perfect! Gareth was instrumental in the planning process making sure everything was smooth. Meagan was so wonderful on the day. She helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and took us to some beautiful places for shoots. We are so pleased with how the day went and cannot thank HeliWeddings enough for the experience!
We eloped with Heli Weddings and everything was perfect. The team were so organised and we had to bring the wedding forward due to weather and Meagan and Gareth made rearranging everything appear seamless. The actual day could not have been better, the weather was amazing and we felt really looked after. I am not comfortable in front of a camera usually but Gareth made us both feel at ease. So grateful for Gareth and Meagan and everyone that helped on the day (Liv, Jacqui and Louis).
There are no words enough for our amazing experience with Heliweddings ! Meagan was absolutely amazing from the initial international correspondence, to the day of our elopement and everything in between. Meagan made sure we were informed of changes with our hotel, looked after me all day in the cold on the mountain and even helped me into my very difficult wedding dress! The experience was like no other and we will treasure our views of coromandel peak for the rest of our lives. A seamless, professional and relaxed process from start to finish thanks to Meagan and the team. We felt so relaxed and looked after in Heliweddings hands. We also loved her direction in relation to photography, my husband isn’t super comfortable in front of the camera and Meagan’s direction saw him LOVING getting shots with the helicopter! We cannot fault a single thing about the day and would recommend Heli weddings to anyone ! If you are even thinking about Heliweddings in contrast to a regular wedding just DO IT - it will be the best experience of your life. 5 stars again and again.
