Galaxie is so kind and easy to work with.  She has a presence that puts you at ease immediately.  This year we explored a new location together and my boys had a blast running around and throwing rocks in the river.  It was hard to get them to stop running off but Galaxie was extremely patient and managed to capture so many wonderful shots of my family.  Love working with her so much!

Galaxie's work is art, her style is timeless, and her spirit is full. She gets to know you as a client and the final result is personal, unique, and inspiring.  Three years ago she photographed Josh and my's wedding, and this year she captured our growing family. I look forward to booking with her whenever she is in Chicago. Her artwork adorns our walls and displays one of my proudest gifts, family.

Before our wedding it was extremely clear to me that she does everything with intention and is a meticulous planner— which I really appreciated. She took the time to get to know my husband and I as people and it’s clearly reflected in our engagement and wedding photos. We felt so comfortable around her— it felt like I was hanging out with a friend that I’ve known for a very long time. She exudes positivity and calmness, which was so appreciated on wedding day. When she walked into the bridal suite on wedding day, I felt instantly relaxed just by seeing her and knowing she was going to nail her part. That feeling is priceless.

Galaxie is an incredible photographer and person. For my wedding, I wanted to work with a photographer who is creative and has a unique style, and that is exactly who Galaxie is. As an artist myself, I appreciated the way Galaxie captures her subjects; her eye for lighting and composition is phenomenal. Not only this, but she's very personable and helped me tremendously when working out the timeline. Shout out to her assistants, too, for being helpful and understanding during the planning process.
