8 years We are Andrei & Michaela, a husband and wife photography duo based in Dublin. We photograph every wedding together, from the first coffee of the morning to the first dance. None of it arrives on its own. A directed day photographs beautifully & becomes a performance. An unwatched day stays honest & half of it is lost. There are two of us so that neither has to be true. The documentary half & the editorial half of this studio are two different people. Michaela follows what is happening. Andrei builds the frame it happens in. While the room watches your first dance, Michaela is watching your father. Half the photographs you will print are of things you never saw. Long before the morning, the day is familiar to us. The timeline is built together, the venue walked, the light checked at the hours that matter. Ireland, and wherever you are marrying. For couples who marry once.
