Trusting MDE to plan our wedding in Italy was the best decision I’ve ever made. They were with me every step of the way and I could not be more grateful. I was so impressed with knowledge and expertise they brought and I really felt taken care of. I was able to fully relax and trust that they had everything covered on my wedding day! I could not recommend Michelle, Joy, and the rest of the team enough!! We were so happy with our wedding day!!!
The best of the best! With our original wedding plans coming to an halt due to a hurricane, Michelle and team stepped in and moved quickly on a new country, venue, vendors, EVERYTHING, in 60 days and put together the most incredible wedding. The team is a joy to work with - so personable, professional, and get things done! They truly made the experience stress free and fun - our wedding wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for MDE!
Hiring Michelle and the MDE team was the absolute best decision we made for our destination wedding in Tuscany. From our first phone call together, we knew she was the perfect fit for us because of her knowledge, confidence and expertise in wedding planning and love for Italian culture. Our wedding week couldn’t have been more perfect because of the incredible vendor team that MDE put together for us. The vendors trusted Michelle and she trusted them making it the most seamless weekend and bringing our dreams that we so carefully curated to life. I would plan a wedding all over again only if MDE was by our side. In the midst of the madness that was last year she never made us feel like our fairytale was out of reach. She supported our decisions, championed us when we got discouraged, & vowed to make our 50 person wedding everything we could ever want, despite Covid.

Planning a wedding from out of state while juggling our busy lives was no easy feat, but Michelle stepped in and made the entire process simple and enjoyable. She quickly understood how to best support us, recommended top-notch vendors, and helped bring our dream wedding to life. The results were absolutely amazing! Michelle and her team were the ultimate pilots for our destination wedding in Sicily. Along with having impeccable taste, they were extremely well organized and thorough. They kept us on top of the million moving parts of hosting a destination wedding by making it easy and taking it one step at a time with careful attention to details and the intricacies of navigating a wedding in a foreign country. To say the least, Michelle and team made our wedding the best day of our lives and helped us pull off the most epic celebration. Michelle Durpetti and the MDE team were an absolute dream to work with. From creativity to execution, Michelle worked tirelessly to bring our vision to life. After coming on, Michelle provided vendor recommendations, worked through any curve ball that was thrown and made sure to keep us calm and on track. We were so thrilled to have MDE and Michelle along for this journey and could not be more grateful. We would highly recommend her to any newly engaged couple!
If you are looking for a luxury, intimate feeling (no matter the guest count), experiental, and beautiful wedding then you MUST hire Michelle and Brigit! I had the most fun weekend of my life because of the level of trust and care I placed with Michelle and Brigit, and they DELIVERED. The wedding was perfect from start to finish. They were organized, diligent, intentional, thoughtful, and caring. They were proactive in communication and reassured me along the way with every decision (and I would consider myself to be a Type A bride, so this wasn't easy!) We had so much fun planning the wedding and every single detail we decided on was worthwhile. I'd recommend Michelle to ANYONE. You'd be silly not to hire her if you live in Chicago!
