My Dad always taught me to tell a story… At first it applied to my writing, but I discovered at an early age my true passion lies in visual storytelling. I put down the pen and paper and picked up a camera and never looked back.
My love for photography started in middle school. I discovered the camera’s magical ability to capture the world around me and I began documenting “day in the life stories,” my very first form of reportage. I wrote every report I could on cameras and famous photographers and my mom took me on special trips to San Francisco to see photography exhibits.
