We worked with Tricia for our wedding and had a wonderful experience! Planning a wedding while out of town is tricky, but Tricia made sure all of the details were taken care of, even when we had last-minute issues with vendors. I would highly recommend Events by Elle, especially Tricia, to anyone looking for a professional, thoughtful, and supportive wedding planner/coordinator.
Where do I even begin to write a review for Michelle with Events by Elle! From the moment my daughter and finance got engaged we knew we wanted Michelle to be their planner. We have followed her for years and knew how wonderful she was as a wedding planner. But what we didn’t know until we spent time with her (a lot of time) just how wonderful she is as a person!! From our very first meeting she felt like a new best friend and she made my daughter, her fiancé and myself feel so comfortable and excited for the planning process. She took all of my daughter’s dreams and turned them into a wedding that still to this day we can’t believe was their wedding!!! Michelle truly cares about what you want and with her years of experience she can guide you and help with every single detail. The DETAILS is what I feel sets Michelle apart from many planners. The DETAILS are her SPECIALTY!!!
She designed a wedding for Sydney and Jared that celebrated not only them as a couple but provided an experience that our family and friends will never forget and treasure for a lifetime! We cannot thank Michelle enough all of her hard work and love she poured into my daughter’s wedding! It was PERFECT in EVERY WAY!!!

I cannot recommend Michelle Layman & the Events by Elle team enough!!!!! Not only was Michelle the absolute BEST planner, she became our dear friend. Michelle's experience in the industry is something so admirable. And that's why she is so so so amazing at what she does. Every wedding she has planned is different. She makes sure that the wedding is unique to each and every couple. She makes sure it is their own. Michelle made the wedding planning process so much FUN!!! Man we had a blast. She put in countless hours to make sure NOTHING was missed and no detail was not thought through completely. I cannot thank Michelle and the Events by Elle team enough for making our dreams a reality. It was honestly more than I EVER could have dreamed of. It was the best day of our lives!!! We love you Michelle!!!

Michelle with Events by Elle was an absolute lifesaver! Her attention to detail, relationships and connections with vendors, and calm demeanor made our wedding planning process run smoothly from start to finish. We had a vision of what we wanted and Michelle brought it to life. The best part was that we were able to fully enjoy our day without any stress, because Michelle had everything under control… we couldn’t have done it without her!
Michelle is a game changer type of planner. She doesn’t just do what is asked of her, she goes above and beyond! She is the goat wedding planner in Kansas City. She has the personality that you instantly just fall in love with.
Long story short, Michelle with Events by Elle stepped in when help was needed the most! While she wasn’t directly involved with planning my wedding, she still helped a former bride out without a second thought. You can clearly tell Michelle is passionate about what she does and she clearly picked the right career path. I can’t thank her enough!
