Kellyne did my sisters wedding, my friend Michelle's wedding, and now my wedding. She was pregnant for most of the planning process and had a 1 month old on the day of our event.
SHE. DID. NOT. MISS. A. BEAT. She has every characteristic you want in a wedding planner: professional, caring, intelligent, great sense of design, amazing coordination skills, food/beverage background, and seemingly endless patience to deal with you and your crazy wedding demands. (please don't have crazy wedding demands) All in all: Kellyne is amazing. You want her for your wedding. Just pray she is available to help you out!

We loved working with Kellyne and her assistant Michelle from Hand & Heart as day-of coordinators. I talked with a number of planners and Kellyne's organization, experience, and style really shone through. We met with Kellyne at the venue in advance to walk through everything. Even though she had just had a new baby (!), she was available by phone and email when we had questions. She had a number of systems to make sure we thought of everything. The day went flawlessly and Kellyne and Michelle executed our vision perfectly. We also took advantage of her rental inventory for bohemian aisle rugs and other decor. We definitely recommend Kellyne and Hand & Heart Events.

We hired Kellyne in Oct 2019 when we first got engaged. We planned for a 2021 Wedding knowing that we needed some time to plan a California wedding while we were living across the country in Washington DC.
Kellyne was so genuine and organized at our first few virtual meetings and phone calls. I could tell she loves her job which made someone like me, who was not super enthused about wedding planning, more excited for the process. Little did we know that a global pandemic would hit and Kellyne didn't miss a step with her communication and reassurance. Kellyne is AMAZING and we can’t recommend her enough!! We hired her to be our month plus coordinator and it was hands down the best purchase of all of our wedding expenses. We almost didn’t hire a coordinator because we were confident we could handle most of the planning on our own but it was SO helpful to have her as a sounding board throughout the planning process, and made the day so much less stressful for us.
She went way beyond the scope of her offerings. She was quick to reply to our emails, she provided great recommendations for our DJ, florist and rentals, and added creative ideas/suggestions along the way that added unique touches we wouldn’t have thought of on our own. It was clear that she has extensive experience planning because there were so many small things she thought of that we never would have considered and definitely made the day go smoother. By the time it got to the day of she made the magic happen behind the scenes to bring our vision to life without us having to stress on our day. We were so impressed with how she arranged all of our table decor and rental set ups. She even added some of her own small decor items to help make it perfect. It truly looked like it was straight out of a magazine; she has a great eye for the design details! We had to push our wedding date back a year because of COVID but the delay truly showed us how detail oriented and invested Kellyne was in making our day happen as we imagined. Even after pausing for 6 months, she remembered all of the small details we had discussed initially, even ones we had forgotten about. And she was patient through all of our changed plans as we navigated the new circumstances. Wedding planning can feel a little isolating because you don’t always want to burden your friends/family agonizing over the nitty gritty details. It was amazing to have Kellyne on our side because she truly felt like a close friend who cared about our day as much as we did. Do yourself a favor and get Kellyne on your team asap!! :)

My wife and I had a great experience with Kellyne! We had some very dynamic wedding plans (thanks to COVID), and Kellyne helped us navigate the huge changes, and made very helpful suggestions about the replanning of the big day. On the wedding day, she seamlessly coordinated the setup of the space, and perfectly ran the background music for the wedding. She even took a few awesome pictures and shared them with us, despite her not being the official photographer. Thank you for everything Kellyne!

My wife and I got engaged in January 2022 and just six months later we were married. We had never thought our engagement would be so short-lived. We figured that planning our wedding would be an enormous feat as it was for many couples that we know and that we would need at least a year to get all the pieces in place.
But we were so excited for our future. We really wanted to purchase our first home together and soon after, start a family. Because of this, we decided to have a much smaller wedding - just 25 guests. Even though this felt more manageable, we were beginning to feel overwhelmed with panic. What does a small wedding even look like? What are the blind-spots in planning? What if we cut too many corners and our moment doesn’t even feel special? Then we found Kellyne at Hand & Heart. What an incredible stroke of good fortune. Kellyne was local to the Outer Sunset in San Francisco and had a special fondness for smaller ceremonies and those that are non-traditional in nature but true to the bride & groom. We could sense her excitement when we walked her through our unshaped vision for our wedding: the ceremony would take place near the Tulip Garden in Golden Gate Park and surrounded by huge trees, followed by a reception dinner at our favorite sushi restaurant just 5 minutes away. Kellyne gave us all the to-dos, provided actionable timelines, and surfaced blind-spots. My wife and I were amazed so many times at how detailed she was - we’d often think: wow, I never would have thought of that. Perhaps most importantly, Kellyne always kept our original vision as the guiding force. This was apparent not just in partners she recommended to bring our vision to life in floral and photography, but also in the smallest of details such as signage and table setting. And where possible, she would drum up some beautiful decorative pieces she had collected over the years to help us save some money. Kellyne was such a wonderful partner through all this. We can’t imagine a better day than the one we had and with a short turnaround time like ours. She really held our hand through the entire process and we couldn’t imagine working with anyone else. We will always recommend Kellyne and her Hand & Heart team!

Where to start with Hand+Heart!?! Kellyne was an absolute dream through the wedding planning process. My husband and I are both chronically busy with work and school and we were so thankful to have Kellyne help us make our wedding so special and so us!
Not only did she give invaluable feedback about vendors, she helped make our garden party vision a reality. She also had an amazing way of calming me down when I felt behind or problem solving and mitigating any potential problems the day of the wedding. I cannot recommend her enough!
