I cannot say enough great things about Rachel! We worked with Rachel (and her lovely assistant, Nate!) for an engagement session and also our wedding. Our sessions were FUN and Rachel made us both feel so comfortable in front of the camera.
We got our photos back this week and they are incredible!! I am blown away. I am so impressed with how quickly photos were ready and how easy it is to navigate & share the photo site. I also love that Rachel also shoots in film & polaroid - it not only matched the vibe of our wedding but it also was so great to receive the printed photos!

Rachel and her partner Nate shot Alex and I's rehearsal dinner and wedding day. It was such a pleasure working with Rachel throughout the process of getting ready for our wedding weekend. She was a calm and knowledgeable presence with a keen sense of understanding our personal style and vision for our day. With her expertise in film, digital and super 8 she can cover your whole day and make it look effortless. You will enjoy your time with her no matter the context!

My bride and I booked Rachel for our wedding and holy cow, she couldn’t have been a more perfect fit! We met in DC for our engagement session, had a lot of fun and she made us feel comfortable right off the bat! Our vision was dreamy, candid and vintage film vibes and Rachel nailed it!! Come our wedding, she fulfilled our love for all of that once again. We knew we’d love reliving our day seeing our wedding photos but we are over the moon happy with how they came out. She is patient, creative and gives feedback which takes so much pressure off of us. Thank you so much again from the bottom of our hearts.

Rachel and her team made our stressful and busy day absolutely wonderful, and now that we have our photos back, there is no denying that they were THE standout of all of those that we booked.
The only thing that I would change is that she now has a new addition of a content creator that I have no doubt would be amazing!

Our package included film and polaroids and Super 8 for Wedding Day and the night before. From a boudoir session in her amazing studio, a Welcome Dinner on a sailboat, different getting ready locations and all around our venue, each part was unique! Getting ready, first touch, the ceremony, cocktail hour, portraits, reception, and golden hour each have a unique different focus, which I absolutely love. The polaroids were an amazing touch, and the different types of film were such a vibe! I could not ask for more to have captured our memories and make them feel timeless!
Our wedding day was full of timeline adjustments and small things falling through, but Rachel and her team were completely fluid, and we really feel that they saved the day and made it enjoyable for the two of us.

Of all of the research I had attempted to do to look for a photographer, Rachel was perfect and surpassed expectations! She and her team were flexible, experienced, professional, and have tremendous range.

It was so evident that they put in work before the events to know what we were looking for. She even has great recommendations for other vendors and her connections show how well respected she is. Rachel also has a wonderful personality that seems to click with anyone.

She even sent little sneak peaks! Of all of the posts that she graced us to share on her amazing Instagram, she even sent them to my partner and I for us to share!! Just above and beyond!

Rachel was wonderful to work with from the start. She had clear and consistent communication and it’s obvious that she is professional that loves what she does, and through our multiple sessions I had no doubt that she had our best interest in mind and was happy to be behind the camera and supporting us.

The team was constantly multi-tasking, aware of what was going on, caused no concerns for us, but also always seemed to be in the right place at the right moment. She and her team were more than familiar with our timeline, what we wanted most out of the day, and needed no reminders, and as things will inevitably happen, they were quick to adjust with a smile. Time goes by so quickly during the events, and she and her team were always prepared and making what we had hoped and planned for happen!

After our initial inquiry, Rachel responded quickly and we scheduled a video call, during which she was super engaged and attentive! We could tell that she really listened to what we shared we were looking for and seemed genuinely excited for what we were planning and happy to be a part of it. Her service guide and contract were clear and so were expectations. My husband and I could tell from the start that she not only had a great eye but had the business part of what she does down as well.

There was not a single instance during the long period of time we worked together that I had doubts or felt on edge about our decision to go with her or that our end product from her team would be lacking. She checked in often and asked for a detailed questionnaire and mood board not only as a part of the inquiry, but also closer to the day which I loved as over months and months of planning things do shift and change.

They did a great job of capturing candid moments and getting group shots. They were somehow able to let us enjoy the experience but also get those specific shots we’d requested. They were able to make each part of the day fun, memorable, and unique. We are so happy to say that we have traditional family portraits, candid, and even photos that look editorial.

Rachel and her team were such an asset to our day, I would recommend them in a heartbeat and can’t wait to have them capture more of our life events!

Rachel is an incredibly wonderful person and an immensely talented photographer. I feel so lucky that I was able to book her. My husband and I did an engagement shoot with her as well and that really helped us feel comfortable getting our photos taken before the wedding. Rachel is funny, kind, and just a general joy to be around. It felt like hanging out with a friend on my wedding day.

She also got my full wedding gallery returned to me in less than 14 days from the wedding. I got them the day after my birthday, it was an incredible gift to behold. I couldn't recommend Rachel more to anyone. If you care about photography as an artful skill and want to have your wedding look stunning and unique, Rachel is your girl.

We felt confident in Rachel not only because of her evident skills, but because of her kind demeanor and friendliness. She was such a joy to have around on our wedding day and truly captured every moment perfectly and creatively. She was very easy to work with and directed each person for the photographs so no one felt awkward or unsure of how to pose.
