A contemporary, open and lively cultural and creative center is to be created using a new use. It will have a long-term positive impact on the barracks area, the surrounding neighborhoods, and the city through its projects. Fluxdock AG developed a concept co-creatively with 21 organizations and was awarded the contract by the technical and steering commission in spring 2021. The co-creative process ensured that the concept represented what could realistically be implemented and desired, and needed by the organizations. It was not only an integral part of the project in its conception but also remained a central tenet in its implementation and realization. Thus, fundamental aspects of the organization and living together in the newly renovated main building are discussed, negotiated, developed, discarded, and improved in a co-creative way.
