J29 Events Planner

Shauna was incredible to work with. We decided to have a destination wedding, booking everything sight-unseen. Shauna put me at ease throughout the whole process and helped weigh-in and direct me while still allowing my aesthetic to come through. She made the entire wedding a cohesive experience which our guests are STILL raving about and in fact we have two couples who attended, request our vendor names because they enjoyed the wedding so much. It was the best experience and as someone in the event industry who handles events and different vendor personalities frequently, I do not give my endorsement lightly but Shauna and J29 Events have gone above and beyond & absolutely earned it.

Planning a wedding to be held in a place I had  never been, from across the country no less, felt daunting. That’s when I found j29. Shauna helped me throughout the whole process and she made everything so easy and she was a wonderful sounding board. Ema was there for us the day of and I would have been a terrible mess if not for her! I was able to spend the morning getting ready while Ema made sure everyone did their part and stayed on time, while reminding me to take care of myself too. These girls helped me create my dream and I could not have done it without them.

Where do I begin with J. 29? From their detailed orientated minds, to their sweet personalities you cannot go wrong with hiring the J.29 team for any event you may be throwing!  I had the pleasure of working alongside the team while helping plan my sister’s wedding. The wedding was nothing short of incredible! The correspondence with the team leading up to the wedding, the walk through meetings we had, rehearsal practice and the wedding day were incredible, and we owe a lot of that to the J.29 team. Thank you J.29 for taking the pressure off our family to help make the wedding as perfect as it was! I can't praise J29 enough for their amazing work. I've had the pleasure of working with their team (and especially Sabrina!) on multiple occasions, and each time my experience has been absolutely flawless. I'm a hairstylist and makeup artist, so I write this review as a fellow vendor who sees the guts and the mess that goes into planning a wedding. Each time I've worked with Sabrina my experience has been seamless--she anticipates everything, and greats each bump in the road with a smile and an immediate solution. I personally think having a planner is a wedding essential, and you can't do better than J29.

Shauna was absolutely amazing! She planned a perfect engagement for me, during the pandemic, and I was 3 states away. I couldn't have been happier with the experience, responsiveness and professionalism. She is a class act and works with wonderful vendors. I can't thank Shauna enough for all her help and great advice! She def pulled off exactly what I wanted and kept it a complete surprise....not easy to do in general but given the pandemic, it was just awesome. Thank You!

J29 was integral to our wedding being pretty much perfection. Shauna is fantastic, as was Liz, our day of coordinator. Everything went so smoothly - we had a small backyard wedding. Initially, we were on the fence about hiring an even coordinator, but it was single handedly the best decision we made. They helped us prepare and think of things that we never would have considered. Liz and her assistant Gabby her extremely professional, detail-oriented, and kept everything running on time so that we could all relax and enjoy the day. I highly, highly recommend working with them!

We just had our wedding in Hood River 9/11/2021 and J29 events was the masterful hand behind our experience. Our lead wedding planner was Sabrina Peters and I have nothing to say but accolades. I got complete package and I couldn't have been happier. It was worth every penny. Sabrina over the last year has been nothing short of amazing, arranging meetings, securing vendors, and just dealing with my personal stress. Our wedding day and rehearsal was flawless due to Sabrina and Shauna. I give them my highest praise and would recommend them to anyone. They also took me as a client after I had to let my first wedding planner go due to non responsiveness and lack of initiative. These guys are the real deal and am forever indebted to them for making our day timeless and unforgettable. You are crazy if you don't hire them.

My husband and I used J29 events as our day of coordinator for our wedding this August. Although we only hired them as a day of coordinator they did so much more for us! Shauna was extremely helpful through the whole planning process, I felt comfortable reaching out to her for vendor recommendations as well as general wedding planning questions. I’m an extremely detail oriented person so it was so nice to have every little detail written out prior to the wedding. Sabrina was present for our walk through as well as our wedding day. I truly could not have gotten through the weekend with out her. The walk through went so smoothly and brought us so much confidence going into our big day! Sabrina and her assistant were first to the venue, where they set up everything, exactly how I visualized. The ceremony and events to follow went so smoothly. Sabrina kept the night going according to our timeline with out putting any extra stress on us. We both felt like we could sit back and truly enjoy our wedding day! I can’t recommend Shauna, Sabrina and the whole J29 team enough!!

Sabrina with J29 Events was a dream to work with! We hired J29 for day-of coordination, and she went above and beyond to make our day so special. We had a few hiccups, and she handled them gracefully and professionally. Anything that went beyond our contract, she communicated the estimated time and cost and helped us make the best decision (like finding the only tents available when Oregon decided to downpour last minute). We highly recommend this team to help bring your wedding to life!

Sabrina is amazing. She is kind, thoughtful, organized and assertive. Not only will she bring to life your exact wedding vision to life, but she’ll go above and beyond to insure that everything goes exactly to plan. And in the off chance that rainstorm decides to make a surprise guest appearance (like it did for ours), she’ll have a solution within minutes that is somehow better than what you originally had planned. We can’t recommend Sabrina enough and if you’re lucky enough to work with her, just know that you’re in the best possible hands and your wedding is going to be better than you ever imagined.

Sabrina at J29 is an absolute DREAM to work with!! It's hard to even put into words how thankful l am that I had her help, expertise, and friendship leading up to, at, and even after our wedding day. While we worked with J29 for day-of coordination, Sabrina went above and beyond leading up to the wedding to make sure everything was perfectly planned and no stone was left unturned. As an anxious and detail-focused bride, it was such a relief to have her step in and take so much of the coordination off my plate in the weeks leading up - and she was super transparent about any added time outside of our original contract for the extra help. Not only is she an absolute master planner and organizer, she deeply cares about the couples she works with. She was consistently checking in with me on the phone or text to ease my mind, see how I'm doing, and answer any random question I had. If you are starting to plan a wedding, I truly can't recommend J29 and Sabrina enough. Our big day went off without a hitch thanks to her and we will be forever grateful to Sabrina and the J29 team!

J29 was the best decision I made for my wedding. I don't know what I would have done without Shauna. She is diligent, organized, hilarious, and was my emotional/mental therapist throughout the whole wedding planning. She even made me the most beautiful custom designed wall to bring my vision to life. J29 really listens to how you vision your wedding, and every little detail was SO perfect. Not to mention every twist and turn, Shauna was on it to make sure it wasn't a problem! I'm confident that if I had a storm coming to my wedding, they would have turned that into a beautiful storm wonderland wedding. I loved every second of my wedding and I highly recommend them!

Shauna was the best planner + partner I could of asked for planning our wedding. Shauna and her team went above and beyond to make our vision come to life in a little barn in Oregon. Shauna is super detail oriented, organized, and collaborative with our other vendors. She made me feel at ease, and I had nothing to worry about the day of because we frequently chatted leading up to the wedding regularly and she ensured everything on track. I would definitely recommend J29 Events and would love to work with Shauna again someday!

Lois with J29 was an absolutely amazing coordinator to work with for our wedding. I thoroughly enjoyed our meetings together and truly felt like we were always on the same page because she always took the time to talk it out with me if we hit a bump in the road. Because we chose an extremely remote location about 1.5 hours away from all of our vendors with no cell service and minimal power everything had to be planned out to a T and we needed to make sure we had a backup plan for weather and power sources on top of that. She thought of everything and really put me at ease even when we had to change things based on the weather the week of the wedding. She even went out of her way to track down umbrellas for us a few days before the wedding. The original reason we wanted to get a coordinator was so that we could enjoy the day and so no one, including family, would have to stress about making the day go smoothly. Lois did just that and truly made it the best day we could've imagined. Thank you so much Lois!
