I've always gone by Ash.  It just sounds right, feels right.  I am a 30-something year old wife + mama of two (well, three if you count our 100lb Bernedoodle, Duke). I’ve been with my hunk of a mountain man (Willie) for almost half of my life... literally, 15 years. Our babies Marley (5) and Bronson (3) aren’t really babies anymore and it is something that I will always struggle coming to terms with. The ways to my heart are simple and are often in the forms of bread, pasta, and ice cream, but I also accept house plants, good company, and cuddles on the couch. As much as I hate to say it… my husband (Willie) will always be way cooler than me. He grows apples, tends to our land, and makes cider for a living.  Our goal has always been to be self-sufficient and give our kids a much quieter, slower, simple life than what we had, so naturally we bought a run down 1920’s farmhouse 2 years ago and are slowly (v slowly) turning it into our dream home. It’s not our forever, but it’s been equally hard and fun learning and doing things ourselves. At our current pace, we hope to have it completed by 2033 (not joking haha).
