It was 2014 when I decided I was tired of working in the TV production industry and wanted to try something that made me excited, something I had always been fascinated by. I packed up my life in Bend, OR and made the move to Scottsdale, AZ to dip my toes in the wedding planning industry.  I started out as a banquet captain for a corporate wedding venue company where I got to see the not-so-pretty side of weddings. As a banquet captain, I essentially learned the ins and outs of executing a full wedding from start to finish. Although it wasn't the most glamorous job, I realized after my first week that I had absolutely found my passion. I moved up with the company and after a few years, had helped open up two venues and was successfully executing around 100 weddings a year.  As my passion and love for weddings continued to grow, I was presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to open up the venue of my dreams in North Scottsdale. This was my final destination before deciding I was ready to offer full service planning exclusively through Hudson Grey Weddings.  As your best friend throughout the planning process, let us show you what it's like to ENJOY the wedding journey.
