Andrea Miclea is by far the greatest wedding photographer and business partner in the business. I was referred to her by a friend to shoot my engagement photos and wedding, and choosing her was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process. Not only is she so creative and original with how she shoots, but she also is so playful and willing to improvise to capture the one of a kind moments. She made me and my husband feel so comfortable in our engagement shoot that by the time it was our wedding day it was as if she was part of the family. She is so communicative throughout the process and was easy to get ahold of for phone and zoom calls. I never had to worry that she would deliver the greatest wedding gallery of all time. She also took free film on our wedding day that she developed immediately which was such a great touch. I feel like I haven't just gained a great photographer but also a wonderful friend who I'm so glad to have shared my wedding day with.
Andrea and her team were nothing short of amazing! From the first call and all the way through the editing process, Andrea listened to what we wanted and gave us such a memorable experience. The photographer is one of the most important pieces of a wedding and Andrea truly made the process stress free and fun. She was kind and patient through all the photography and her creative style gave us some incredible photos. I highly recommend Andrea and her team!

Andrea is AMAZING!! We used her for both our engagement photos in Georgia and our wedding in Kansas. She is communicative, professional, SO FUN, such a hype girl, and seriously does such amazing work. Her photos are classic, timeless, romantic, playful, detailed, and really captured everything we wanted from our wedding day. We will cherish our photos for a lifetime and continue using Andrea for all of our life photos! Highly recommend Heirloom Foto!

As a newly-engaged couple in the early stages of wedding planning, we both chose our hills to die on. The groom cared about music and an open bar. The bride cared about the venue, the photographer, and the open bar. With that in mind, Darby began her search for the perfect wedding photographer. (Spoiler alert: she found her.)
When Darby came to Richie giddy that she had found "the one", his reaction was relief and borderline indifference. "As long as you're happy". Given that they were living separately at the time, they had to join the intro call separately. But when they called after to debrief as a couple, they were in lockstep that Andrea of Heirloom Foto was "the one".
Andrea makes it clear from the get go that she won't take a client if she doesn't think they'll be a match. It's important that everyone shares the same expectations and if those can't be met then she's crystal clear about that from the start. It's hard to imagine what that would look like because she superseded any and every expectation we set (even the implicit ones we didn't share out loud).
For our engagement shoot, we met up with her in downtown Atlanta at a historic building in the hopes of capturing an old-Hollywood aesthetic. Life had other plans when it started to torrentially downpour and we had issues with the building for the shoot. Andrea was determined and in spite of all the obstacles, produced the engagement shoot that was perfectly "us". With this, how could we be anything but excited for the wedding photos?
Leading up to the wedding, Andrea was responsive and very light touch, only requesting that we complete a questionnaire ahead of time. She was one of, if not the easiest vendor during what was a very stressful time.
The day of the wedding, Andrea and Kat were a dream team that moved through their shoots and photo progressions seamlessly. Everyone has to start somewhere but thankfully we were dealing with a seasoned team that knew their role and how to play it without being intrusive. In place of a videographer, we had a content creator team that was booked relatively last minute. Despite never having worked together, the teams were in lock step and were able to work with and around each other with no issue.
As with all weddings, we inevitably had last minute changes to the schedule that required Andrea and team to be flexible. And flexible they were. Even being behind schedule, we still managed to get every shot we wanted without compromising the quality of any of them. Even with a last minute request for the couple to take a photo with every table rapid-fire style, Andrea was able to accommodate and move us quickly. (Note: do not do this to your vendors without the proper advance planning.) Even when we pushed the very limits of our time at the venue, Andrea captured our private last dance, photos with our vendors, and our picture-perfect sendoff.
If this feels like a long review, imagine what it looked like before we cut it down. And still, it's not long enough to truly express how well Heirloom Foto came in the clutch. They were professionals every step of the way but made the entire process fun. The vibes were immaculate. The photos were timeless. And if we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing. As a couple, the wedding is a once in a lifetime event. If you are planning a wedding any time soon, make sure you book this once in a lifetime photography team.
