We loved having Kellie as our photographer! She made our elopement day so fun and special despite the weather being less than optimal all day. Kellie is more than helpful and goes above and beyond to help wherever she can. So grateful we chose her as our photographer.
We could not be happier with our choice to go with Kellie. We used her for engagement photos and for the ceremony/reception. Going in, we had a photographer friend examine some of the album samples we were considering, and he pointed out how well Kellie handled low-light and difficult action shots. She did not disappoint. She went above and beyond in the volume and quality of pictures for our special day. Anything we could have wanted from the pre-ceremony, first look, ceremony, and reception was in the album when it was finished. The final product was excellent, but perhaps more importantly, she was a phenomenal person to be around. She brought joy and positive energy to the proceedings. She was excellent to work with leading up to the wedding and on the day. Wrangling folks for group pictures can be a hassle, but she did an excellent job helping everyone feel included and special.
Our experience with Kellie has been perfection from start to finish: Booking: The booking process was super simple. We emailed back and forth a bit to be sure that she wasn't yet booked for our day, then had a brief phone consultation since we live out of state. Kellie uses an online system for all of the pre-event booking paperwork and payment. Contracts can be viewed and signed using this portal, and we liked that we didn't have to print and scan anything, it was all digital and very user-friendly! Pre-Event: Kellie didn't ask too much of us in the run-up to the big day, which we appreciated as we had plenty to worry about as it was! An itinerary of the day and a list of desired shots are the main things you'll need to get to her in preparation for the big day. The Wedding: Kellie showed up promptly and immediately got to work taking some "flat shots" (photographing objects like the rings, the flowers, the dress, etc.). She got creative with these, incorporating things from our surroundings, and these photos are stunning. During the wedding, she had tons of fun ideas for shots and gave me some great advice on how to position myself for ideal poses. We had a bonfire at the end and Kellie captured some truly epic photos of us in front of it! Through all of it, Kellie fit in seamlessly with our friends and family...some people even thought she must be a friend of mine from high school or college! Though she settled effortlessly into our laid-back wedding vibe, never forcing a moment if it wasn't authentic, she can also do some serious (but gentle) wrangling if necessary to move group shots along or clear the background of stragglers. Post-Event: We received our album about 2.5 months later, (ahead of the projected delivery date) and let me tell you it was worth the wait. We are absolutely in love with these images. Kellie strikes the perfect balance between classic and quirky, with a mix of posed photos and candid snaps. We're in the process of selecting our favorites for editing, but just based on our album as a whole we're already delighted with Kellie's work. Overall: From ease of booking to the quality of the photos received, working with Kellie has been a dream. Please book her if you're looking for a stunning wedding album that goes beyond the "standard" and will reflect the uniqueness of your special day in every image!
