When I set out to find a photographer, I knew that I wanted someone who could really capture the spirit of the day as opposed to taking a lot of highly stylized/posed pictures. Marcela fulfilled this and more.

Her photos have a depth, beauty and realness that so many wedding photos lack. I absolutely love the photos she took - which somehow manage to capture the magical setting, joy/vibrancy of the guests and those beautiful in between moments.

In addition to being such a talented photographer, Marcela was also wonderful to work with - responsive and organized from my first point of outreach. She followed-up regularly in the lead-up to the wedding and always responded to my questions promptly. At the wedding itself, Marcela made taking bridal party photos, family photos, etc. seamless and fun. She also managed to be present but not intrusive so that the photos she got really felt authentic.

I would highly recommend Marcela to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. She is so talented and a real professional.

Marcela is a not only a fantastic photographer but also a great person to be around. She has that gift of capturing a moment so organically. After looking through my engagement and wedding photos roughly 3 million times, I can still feel every emotion coming through. Also amazing to work with! We instantly felt so comfortable with her, and she does a great job helping people like me, who aren't always super comfortable in front of the camera, feel confident! Truly, we had the best experience working with Marcela, we are so grateful for her and her work!!! If you are considering Marcela to capture one of your major life events, don't hesitate!!!

My fiancé and I had the opportunity to shoot with Marcela, and let me just tell you, she is just so sweet! She made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable and everything with the shoot just felt natural! She’s absolutely talented!! She helped direct us with the poses in our pictures and it definitely helped make it easier for us since we’re so awkward with posing by ourselves! I 100% recommend you all to have her take your photos!

Marcela is a dream to work with and I'm so grateful to her for doing our engagement photos. She's so kind and welcoming, and her photos are stunning. I've never felt so beautiful! Marcela traveled to our wedding in the Columbia Gorge last summer and this review is long overdue. Working with her leading up to the event was easy breezy, and she showed up and seamlessly got to work both for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day. She did a fabulous job while on-site, and the photos she took still make me cry almost a year later with their beauty and perfection. She intuitively knew when to (very lightly) nudge us for posed photos and when to sink back into the fray a bit and just soak up the scene. I feel such immense gratitude to have had her as a part of our celebration, and for the phenomenal photos she captured. Her photography talent and what it produces are the gift of a lifetime. I would recommend her without reservation, again and again and again.

If I could leave more than 5 starts I would. Marcela is a dream to work with.  She took our engagement and wedding photos.  For the engagement session we really didn't know what we wanted, so she set up a studio session for us and worked with the natural light to pose us and get some great shots.  She captured our "album cover" as my husband likes to say :)
On our wedding day, she was punctual, professional, and captured some amazing shots. I cannot recommend her more highly.  We are so grateful to have had such an amazing photographer and person capture the best day ever!
