We hired Phern for both our engagement photos and our elopement and we have her booked for our reception in 2023.
Our engagement photos were awesome, we had to reschedule our first shoot because our dog got sick, Phern was so sweet and rescheduled us immediately. Our photos were beautiful, she captured us perfectly.
Our elopement was in August and good ole Michigan gave us a day filled with rain. Some brides embrace the rain and I just couldn’t. I was heartbroken that our ceremony was moved inside and while we were able to take family photos outside at our original ceremony spot Phern could tell I felt very down about it. My dress and veil were wet and my hair was frizzy. She came up to me right before we were supposed to start couple portraits and offered to come back another day and shoot us again in our wedding clothes. I am forever grateful for that offer. We were able to get dressed up again, I had my hair and make up done and it was a few days after our wedding so I was able to keep my bouquet alive. Our wedding photos from both days are absolutely stunning. If Phern hadn’t offered us another day to shoot I know the photos would have turned out great even with wet clothes, but we are so grateful to have had that second chance to get the portraits we really wanted. We feel very lucky to have found Phern and we can’t wait to have her shoot our reception next year.

Phern was everything we could have asked for in a wedding photographer and more. Her organization, personality, and passion for her work made the whole process wonderful and seamless. I literally can't rave about her enough and can't wait to book another session with her soon. Her photos just radiate off the page or screen and I have to smile everytime I see one of her posts scroll across my feed. I'm so thankful that we had her to help us celebrate our day!

Phern was absolutely amazing. Tons of energy and an amazing attitude. I felt so taken care of on my wedding day because she prioritized my needs and wants. She was like a wedding coordinator and photographer in one keeping us on time as we took pics. She's extremely detail oriented and worth every penny and more. I can't wait to work with her again in the future. You would be lucky to have her for any shoot. HIRE HER!!
