So thankful that we chose Kara! She was so organized with everything- from planning to engagement pictures to the wedding day. She even helped us re-plan things when we made changes to our day because of COVID. Kara and Daniel were incredible on the wedding day, because of them we were even ahead of schedule! She got our sneak peeks and entire albums to us so quickly. They were patient and flexible with us too, even at our August incredibly hot outdoor wedding. We would absolutely choose them again! (They also got amazing engagement pictures of us with our two dogs, which we did not think was possible!)

Kara was an absolute joy to work with. So many great things to say about her but specifically her passion for her work speaks for itself. Kara was organized and kept us on schedule while making sure we had fun too. We got our complete wedding gallery back within a few weeks and we are absolutely thrilled. Kara captured everything from our special day. The photos are absolutely beautiful and will be treasured forever.

Hiring Kara as my photographer was one of the best choices I made about my wedding day. She is incredibly organized, focused, and efficient, and that was evident from our very first meeting. Leading up to our day I had plenty to stress over, but I never once had to worry about photography because I knew Kara was on top of it. She created a perfect wedding timeline that my day of coordinators utilized as well as all of my other vendors. She knew all the spots and poses to get my dream wedding photos, and even helped my videographer to capture amazing footage as well. She is an incredibly talented photographer and I would absolutely recommend her for anyone's wedding.

The BEST in the MIDWEST! Let's just say that Kara is exactly the type of person you want by your side on wedding day (and throughout the wedding planning process)! My new husband and I got to know Kara & Daniel very well, as we were a Covid couple and had to postpone our wedding for a year. Fr om the moment I met with Kara through our wedding album, I can say with confidence: she is extremely organized, superb with communication, an incredibly talented photographer & goes above and beyond as your right-hand-woman on wedding day. Definitely do your engagement session with Kara & Daniel - our engagement photos were stunning and perfect to use for save the dates, invites, & wedding day decor. When Covid hit, Kara was super supportive and empathetic. She allowed me to lean on her to talk through the rescheduling process. When we picked back up a year later, it was like we hadn't missed a beat. She is SO helpful in creating a day-of timeline and communicating with vendors. She also diligently kept an eye on the weather & covid protocols and developed plans B, C, D, etc. for anything that popped up. Kara was always there to reassure us that everything would be amazing! And, it most certainly was. On the wedding day, everything was flawless. My new husband and I literally floated through the day. We sat back and watched the events unfold knowing that Kara was there to capture all the special moments. The bulk of photos we took before the wedding/reception and we finished earlier than expected because Kara & Daniel had everything ready to go (as well as umbrellas & several weather apps to be sure we wouldn't get stuck in a summer storm). During the wedding is wh ere Kara really exceeded any expectation I had for a photographer - she just stepped in and helped me in every way. She held my train, changed my shoes, worked with our planner & DJ, played interference when I was swarmed by guests, and calmed my nerves when I got anxious. She is so enthusiastic and kind, but on wedding day she got down to business! That's exactly what you want when you're corralling family & rowdy guests. Oh, and the photos? They are jaw-droppingly gorgeous! We look like celebrities and the quality of her photographs are extraordinary. Thank you Kara & Daniel for everything over these past two years - we'll be forever grateful we had you by our side through the whole process & there to ensure we had (& will remember!) our best day ever!

To say Kara goes above and beyond in capturing the most perfect of shots, and assuring wedding day photos go as smoothly as planned is an understatement! Kara was awesome about touching base with us on a routine basis, to discuss any & all details for our engagement pictures and wedding pictures, and had a finished product for us within just a few weeks!!! She was also fantastic about outlining the times and places to be for our wedding day schedule, which gave us much reassurance on how smoothly things would go. Cannot imagine there is another photographer in StL who will work as hard as Kara does, she truly goes the extra mile!!

Kara is a true artist with photos brimming with natural light and a candid quality as well as a very knowledgeable in how to craft a wedding day timeline that fits in all the portraits and artsy photos in a very thoughtful way so that your wedding day doesn't feel task-oriented. She and Daniel are a really fun, engaging, and easy-going team, which is equally important as you spend a lot of time with your wedding photographers. Kara meets with her couples to learn about them and what's important to them first, then closer to the date will draft a timeline for the day that was extremely helpful to me to take any stress out of the planning process (relying on her knowledge rather than having to make it myself!). Also very helpful was her ability to choose the photo locations in the moment based on lighting and weather -- also having a photographer who was willing to direct my family and the wedding party took pressure off us and made for amazing photos. She and Daniel were very flexible in fitting in specific requests that we had (such as a large group photo at the reception that was a difficult feat). We are so happy with how our photos turned out-- her photography has a timeless style.

If you're looking for an AMAZING wedding photographer, look no further, Kara is the one!!! She captured all the romantic, sweet, funny memories from our special day and turned them into gorgeous photos that we will cherish for the rest of our life! We had all of our photos taken outside, and it was 88 degrees, sunny and HUMID. But looking at our photos, it looks like it's a breezy fall afternoon! So impressive! Kara and her husband, Daniel, were so easy-going leading up to our day, and always responded quickly when a question came up. She definitely eased a lot of the tension and stress I had the morning of the wedding, and even took it on herself to diffuse some family drama (which was totally unexpected but much appreciated!!) She worked so well with all of our venders, even our inexperienced videographer ;) We were beyond impressed with our photos, and so were all our family & friends. Wedding planning is hard, but hiring Kara as our photographer was easy, and turned out to be the best decision we made! Kara and Daniel were recommended to us by a family member who was also getting married and wow! We are absolutely thrilled with the whole process. Kara was flexible when our original engagement shoot got rained out but remained determined to get another date within 2 weeks. We knew after our very first call with Kara that she was the one for us, and we were absolutely in awe at the quality of her work. She is extremely organized, communicative, and and easy to work with. Kara works very fast during and after the shoot. We loved how efficient she was with the kiddos during our big day. Words cannot describe how thankful I am that I found Kara when researching wedding photographers. It can be overwhelming picking such an important vendor, but during our first phone call, I immediately felt at ease and knew she was the right choice. Kara is kind, organized, efficient, and truly cares about her work. Her & Daniel are a fantastic team. Kara helped with the overall ease of wedding planning for me. She worked closely with me to help develop my day of timeline, which was a HUGE help. They scoured our large venue for the perfect spots for first looks, group shots, etc and really got creative to use a lot of different elements of our venue, which I absolutely love. Kara kept the whole day moving smoothly and on time for us. At our reception, I even gave her a look when I was ready for the father/daughter dance based on our timeline because the DJ didn't start it immediately & she took care of getting things moving for me. She truly goes above & beyond. We received sneak peaks within a few days of our wedding and our full gallery within 2 weeks, which is incredible timing. She edits her own photos beautifully. Kara and Daniel are just the bees knees :) Two of my old classmates (both extremely intelligent women) chose them for their wedding and their pictures were absolutely gorgeous so I knew I was in good hands but wow, if they aren't just the nicest, easy-going most awesome people to work with on top of that. My husband hates with a fiery passion having his picture taken but you would never know from our engagement photos and our sneak peak wedding pics. They made him feel totally at ease. They were the most supportive of my dream to get our fur babies in some photographs and helped make it happen. They worked with our awesome wedding planner to make a super detailed plan that was easy to follow and even wrangled my ginormous family and grabbed all of our portrait shots in record time. At one point during our couples shots, I looked over and Kara is full on lying on the ground to get this incredible shot in the St. Louis library. I got married last weekend and I already have a sneak preview and I know that the rest of the photos will be absolutely amazing. I can't recommend them enough!!

Kara felt like my partner in crime planning our wedding. She was beyond helpful from day 1 in helping us establish our wedding day timeline. She raised questions I did not even think to ask our vendors. She was consistently professional and organized throughout the process. I was skeptical at first to do an engagement session but we approached it as practice for our wedding day photos and I'm so glad we did! She truly made us feel so comfortable (when we are so NOT comfortable having pics taken of us!). When the wedding day arrived, she was instrumental in making sure the wedding party got from point A to B to take photos. Once the ceremony started, Kara & Daniel disappeared in the best way possible - they did not block any guests views, they weren't in any guests faces to take photos... they blended in with the crowd but were right there if you needed them. Kara turns around the photos in about 2 weeks, too, and the photos are truly stunning. We cannot thank them enough and hope to work with them again in the future!

We had the privilege of working with Kara and Daniel on our wedding day at the Missouri Botanical Garden. From start to finish, Kara was professional, organized, communicative, flexible, and friendly. When we first met in person for our engagement photoshoot, she made us feel comfortable right away and provided clear directions for different poses throughout the session. Kara is incredibly talented and has an eye for great shots. She captured amazing backdrops, angles, and lighting on our wedding day. She has strong attention to detail and took the perfect balance of candids and posed photos throughout the day. Additionally, Kara is very familiar with the Missouri Botanical Garden and chose perfect areas for shots. We couldn’t have hoped for a better photographer to document our special day and are so happy that we were able to work with Kara and Daniel. We love our photos, and our family and friends have expressed to us how impressed they are with our photographer.

Kara and Daniel deserve more than 5 stars! From our first meeting my now husband and I immediately clicked with Kara. When we met with Kara in person for our engagement session, she made some of the most awkward people in front of the camera into literal MODELS! After our engagement session, we became even more excited to have Kara and Daniel capture our wedding day. Throughout the planning process, Kara was very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. She gave us a timeline that allowed for plenty of photos and even some buffer in case we were running late. We received our full gallery (over 800 photos!) 2 weeks after our wedding! Our photos are absolutely stunning and I cannot thank Kara enough for giving us the gift of being able to relive our wedding day for years to come!
