Working with Barrett was an absolute pleasure. He has such a great eye, and I am so happy with the amazing photos he and his team captured. He was very professional, and made sure to capture all the shots we wanted along with beautiful candid shots. We have so many stunning images from our engagement pictures, my bridal portraits, and our wedding day that we will cherish forever. I met Barett and Yorlin at a friend's wedding, after which Barett shot my engagements. I was impressed with his turnaround time, attention to detail, and just absolutely breathtaking shots he captured. I decided to hire him as my wedding photographer and he and Yorlin did not disappoint. They shot my bridals as well as wedding day coverage. In each session, they both went above and beyond.<br>
Bridals- I found it challenging to schedule bridals during a time that fit my schedule, the venue's availability and my hair & makeup artists' schedule. In terms of coordination, they were the most flexible, which I really appreciated. I had no one to go with me for bridals due to the venue only being available during working hours. Yorlin assisted with my dress, shoes, and even brought me water. They also printed a large 30x40 print from the bridal session to be displayed on the day of, which I got so many compliments on.

Barett at Civic Photos was such a JOY to work with from the very beginning! I had seen his work on social media and it was definitely the direction I wanted to go for our wedding photos - once we met in person, I knew Barett was the perfect match for what we wanted for our day! Civic Photos ended up doing our engagement pictures, a SECOND engagement session (with COVID we wanted something extra special), my bridals, and our wedding day - we got EVERY SINGLE PHOTO from our sessions. I am so impressed with my engagement, bridal, and wedding pictures! I really love the editorial style that Barett shoots. He’s the perfect balance of being open to the poses you want, but also having directions so you don’t feel awkward. His wife was his assistant at my wedding. She was so kind and helpful! The awesome part is I would get the final products within the week! I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. It was a pleasure working with him!

When I first talked to Barett about my vision for the wedding, he immediately knew what I was looking for. He captured our engagement photos, bridal shower and wedding and always had new creative ideas to make our photos unique and timeless! Him and his team were always extremely professional, kind and fun to work with. For my husband and I who are not used to being in front of the camera, they always made us feel comfortable and gave lots of direction which I greatly appreciated. Looking back on all of our gorgeous photos, I continue to be so happy with my decision to work with CivicPhotos!

Barett and his wife were an absolute joy to work with. We used them for our engagement photos, small covid ceremony, and our large wedding. I can’t say enough good things about these too. Barett will respond to your text, call, or email almost instantly. If you have planned a wedding, then you know how valuable that is. He gives direction well and has the eye of a true artist. For someone who doesn’t love their picture being taken, this was a huge relief. The photos are beautiful, and on top of that, he gets them to you in a matter of days (as in less than a week!) There is also something to be said about witnessing a husband and wife collaborate so beautifully while you yourself are building a marriage. Love these two and love the memories they have captured for us!
