I cannot recommend Alyssa enough. We booked her as a month of coordinator. I knew she would be a perfect fit because I was so impressed by her style and vision based on her social media pages. Her own wedding was one of the most beautifully detailed weddings I’ve ever seen!

Alyssa was professional and available to answer any questions even ahead of a month out. She supplied us with checklists and confirmed all our vendors taking that off our hands.

When it came to the wedding, we were so rushed from bad weather the few days before. The morning of I looked at Alyssa and said “everything’s there that you need, I just need you to make it beautiful” and that’s exactly what she did. She made our dessert and head table even more gorgeous than I had in my head.

If you are looking for a wedding planner that is easy to talk to and with incredible style and lots of experience, Alyssa is your girl.

Alyssa was truly the best through every stage of our wedding planning and during the event! We worked with Alyssa for over a year leading up to our wedding and cannot recommend her enough. The list of reasons why we love her goes on forever – but some highlights: managing our timelines and budgets (the things we didn’t want to deal with too much), coming up with unique and creative ideas, totally understanding our vision and priorities, finding incredible vendors for us to work with… and so much more. Alyssa was responsive via email, text and in-person meetings every step of the way and removed every ounce of worry from us. I felt so great in the weeks before the big day – truly zero worries or nerves because I knew Alyssa would handle everything exactly how I would want. The biggest thing we were impressed by was the vendors she recommended and managed. We had a VERY custom wedding, truly bespoke, with 15+ vendors, 2 venues and dozens of people working on set up and staffing the event itself. Alyssa managed every vendor, big and small, coordinating timing of deliveries, building ceiling installations, designing lounge/party/dinner/ceremony/drinking spaces and flawlessly executing every second of our event. We honestly really miss working with her and wish we could have another wedding so we could work with her again!!

Alyssa (and Miguel!!) were such a joy to work with throughout the entire planning process and especially on the day of! We booked Elle and James Co. for a Full Service Wedding and can't be happier with how everything turned out. When I first reached out to Alyssa I was so overwhelmed - so much Pinterest inspo but no idea where to start, when to do things, or how to not completely blow our budget. We were one of the first of our friends to get married and hadn't been to many weddings either. Thank goodness for Alyssa!!! Throughout the planning process Alyssa was so great with our schedules and keeping us updated. Her network of vendors gave us options to match our aesthetic and budget. When it came to design, she took my vision and made it a reality. We mixed and matched inspo to come up with something that was perfect for us - it felt so custom/personal to us! I still remember walking into my venue and being emotional with how much she transformed it to exactly what I pictured. Logistically, our day ran perfectly and stress-free. I'm so grateful that we got to enjoy our day with loved ones and not have to worry about everything coming together. I started off having no idea where to start and thanks to Alyssa our wedding turned out to be exactly what we envisioned. We trusted Alyssa with our wedding and we're so happy we did. Can't recommend enough!!

We are so happy to have met Alyssa and work with her on everything wedding related from planning, budgeting, designing our vision to life, and coordinating it all on our wedding day. I found out about Alyssa through Steve from Sinclair & Moore Events and I am so happy he recommended Elle and James Co. We worked with Alyssa for a little less than a year and I had nothing planned when I met Alyssa. She listened to what we wanted, what we envisioned our wedding day to be like, and did a lot of research to find the perfect venue and vendors for us. I didn’t make it easy because I loved everything about weddings. However I definitely do have a style that I prefer and she was amazing at pinpointing all the little details that I love and incorporated it into our wedding for us to truly have a custom wedding that fits the two of us as individuals and as a couple. Alyssa was great at managing timelines and communicating with our vendors and us. Throughout the whole year I was never stressed out at any point and trusted her expertise. It allowed us to focus on being in the moment on our wedding day. We are truly grateful to have met Alyssa and work with her on creating our dream wedding!

She was a sounding board when I couldn't make decisions, and helped me make color palette, design, and floral choices. It was so helpful to have full trust in your wedding planner and alignment on a design vision so that she could take the lead and I was able to take a step back and enjoy the year of engagement.

We are Alyssa and Miguel, the couple behind the brand. Elle and James Co. was a natural progression of a draw to weddings and design as a young girl that came to fruition after planning our own wedding in 2015. A quote I once read stated how interesting it is that the passions we have as children often manifest into the dreams we have for ourselves later in life. I’ve always had a passion to create. I went through phases of wanting to be a teacher, an architect, an interior designer, a wedding planner, a writer, a stationer. I spent hours as a kid making lesson plans, drawing up floor plans and designs for my future dream house, creating collages and illustrations and lists upon lists. With an even stronger interest in a good love story, and a happy ending, I also knew for sure that I wanted to be a wife and a mother. When I least expected it, Miguel and I met at a local waterfront restaurant where he was the head Chef and I was working for the summer as a hostess before going back to finish my senior year of college. Our romance started quickly and our spark was undeniable. It was like every boy meets girl summertime love song, in real life. Almost a decade later and here we are, married with four children, and a business inspired by our love story, with the passion to create beauty around us and unforgettable experiences that last as cherished memories for a lifetime. We believe that life is a collection of beautiful moments; some you won’t know are special until you look back, and others you anticipate years ahead. Our purpose is found in the opportunity to design an experience beyond your dreams and to create moments within these memories that define your story.
