It’s difficult to put into words how much we loved working with Gen and her team, but we will give it a shot. We did a partial planning package with her and from start to finish she went above and beyond. We trusted her amazing vision and she created a beautiful visual for us when we were first getting started. Our wedding was more beautiful than anything we could’ve ever imagined. Not only that but it also was run smoothly and very efficiently. Gen is kind and thoughtful but she was also able to wrangle our large (and crazy) bridal party easily. We had a few amazing surprises even on our big day that took it to the next level. I also want to mention that she was always awesome at communicating with us and very responsive. Please book gen and her team, you will not regret it!!

It was a pleasure to work with Genevieve. I only had venue and pastor in schedule when I hired Gen as our planner and day of coordinator. It was about 7 months out from the ceremony date. My husband and I both work and we both are not an event planning person, so her recommending and checking through all the needed vendors was a great relief.

She heard my concerns and was very professional throughout. I liked the decor style she promotes in her website, and she did great decorating our ceremony hall and reception tables. I found some other vendors such as hair and makeup, but I included her in all of my emails and she responded well in the thread if she had the information.

She had sent designs of linens and dinner wears. When I was not sure, she  offered to meet her at the store to choose my own. So she initially offers choices and supports your decision, whichever you decide to do.

Throughout the planning period, I felt like I was remembered and well taken care of. I knew she was always busy over the weekend, but she responded with reasonable time period to my emails and contacts throughout.

She was with two of her assistants and I was not stressed on the day of the ceremony as well.

She is not going to make the entire wedding by herself, and the bride and the groom still has many decision makings to do. However, if you know what you are expecting from the planner, I would strongly recommend Genevieve.

As a professional in the wedding industry and one of Gen's brides, I can say that she is one of the most dedicated planners that I have ever worked with. Gen goes above and beyond for her wedding couples in unimaginable ways, ensuring that your special day is as seamless as possible. She has an incredible blend of strong design skills, attention to detail, and compassionate demeanor that makes her a pleasure to collaborate with. Working with Gen, we received recommendations that helped elevate our wedding, find vendors that were the perfect fit, and execute a publication worthy wedding. So excited to have our wedding featured in BRIDES! We are thankful to have had Gen as our wedding planner and would recommend her without any hesitation.

We have nothing but positive things to say about Gen and her team! We chose Gen for partial planning for our first day and then day of coordinator for our second day of wedding festivities. She went above and beyond and truly made sure both day would be a huge success. From the get go, she turned our vague ideas into a cohesive vision and wrangled all of our vendors together to deliver a perfect wedding day. On the day of, she was also so on top of everything that we had nothing to worry about (and even had a few surprises for us throughout the day)! Would truly recommend her to anyone looking for top notch wedding planner!

Working with Genevieve has been an absolutely amazing experience. Our wedding day wouldn’t have been possible with her. She has so much knowledge in wedding planning and was able to guide us whenever we needed assistance throughout our wedding planning journey. She is extremely detailed oriented and has gone above and beyond to make our day special. She was always available for questions and worked with us to set up timelines along with many other small details that we didn’t even think through. Genevieve was able to help take a lot off our plate and did a great job communicating with all of our other vendors to make sure things were in order. She was also able to recommend multiple vendors that we ended up choosing and they were all amazing as well. On top of all of this, she also made us an amazing welcome sign and she has a collection of decor you can rent from which helps a lot so you don’t have to spend more money on something you’ll only use once. We highly recommend working with Genevieve!

We started our wedding planning on our own and later hired Gen as our day of coordinator. I felt that Gen went above and beyond what I had expected from a day of coordinator to help us plan our day and I can't thank her enough for that. As a DIY bride there were so many moments during wedding planning when I felt alone or stressed out about whether or not things would work out or look right but she was always just a text/call away if we needed anything. Gen was always just so calm and sweet about everything and just talking to her put me at ease about about the direction and process of our wedding planning. Gen and her team are as professional as they come and we're just so incredibly lucky to have had them as part of our team. My only regret is not having hired her to plan our entire wedding sooner because I could only imagine what beautiful things she would have been able to come up with if we had her from the start.

Gen and her team were incredible throughout the entire wedding process. We were a little concerned about planning a wedding that was going to happen in Washington while we lived in California. Working with Gen and her team made it so much easier than we thought it could be. She had amazing recommendations for all of our vendors and knew so much about so many different options for us to consider. She coordinated the tastings, tours, and walk-throughs to our schedule. She kept us on track and made sure that everything was done well in advance and that the weeks leading up to our wedding were as stress-free as they could be. Moreover, Gen and her team were so kind and warm. They navigated the interpersonal family challenges inherent during the wedding planning process with ease and professionalism. The day of coordination went perfectly, her schedule ensured that everyone got to the venue in plenty of time and there truly were no issues or hiccups whatsoever. So many of our guests commented on how seamless and wonderful everything was at the wedding, and we give all the credit to Gen, her team, and the wonderful vendor team that she has cultivated relationships with. We really enjoyed working with Gen and cannot recommend Event by Genevieve enough for anyone looking to plan a wedding or other large event!
