We absolutely loved working with Zai. Her presence was so calming on the day of our wedding -- our favorite part of the whole day was shooting with her out on the lake while everyone else was enjoying the cocktail hour. She captured that serene, intimate time and everything from the day including sweet moments together & with our loved ones so beautifully. Everyone who has seen our gallery has been blown away by her art. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Zai!

Hire her. Vogue worthy photos aside (except, not aside because duh - she is brilliantly talented), you want Zai in your corner on your wedding day. I knew we hit the jackpot at our engagement session, which went comically awry. My glam was an actual disaster, so Zai grabbed a comb and fully redid my hair. How many photographers you know who are that hands on?! There was so much laughter that day, I remember turning to my partner and both of us letting out a huge sigh of relief as we knew we’d be taken care of on our big day. Sure enough, Zai walked into the door on wedding day with the best energy (and sparkly jumpsuit). She made sure to rub my scented oil on me several times so I locked in the sense memory and reminded both of us to be in the moment in the most beautiful way. Even as tons of family members started to gather during our first look, it felt like we were in our own little bubble and the photos absolutely convey that. We are so blown away by her eye, her attention to detail, light chasing ability, editorial story telling, moment capturing, and best of all, her beautiful spirit. Your wedding photos are the best investment you can make for your big day, and I cannot recommend Zai highly enough.

There are truly no words to express how amazing Zai is not only behind the lens but overall.  The moment I got proposed to... one thing was a definite...she was going to be my photographer.  I planned my date around her availability and let me tell you...it was destiny 11.12.22!   The first time I met Zai was for our engagement shoot.  We were nervous and she made our session super comfortable and fun that at times we forgot that we were being photographed.  We stayed talking for hours and bonding which lead to building a trust and comfort for our big day.  That day, when I saw Zai arrive, it wasn't my photographer...but rather by friend that was about to capture the most important day of our lives.  She is pure magic.  We got a torrential down pour right before our reception and Zai didn't skip a beat.  Her energy was contagious  and we all made the  best of it.  Zai, thank a thousand times for being so amazing.  Your professionalism and passion far beyond exceeded our expectations.  You are worth every penny! I highly recommend Zai for any occasion that you want to memories to be treasured forever. And now.... bring on Spain 2023!

I don't have enough words to describe how incredible it was to have Zai as our photographer. She's both incredibly professional and a master at her art. She gave us the gift of beautiful, emotion-filled pictures that really show the story of our day. I still can't stop looking at them!

As soon as we booked with Zai, she shared helpful tips, and we got an engagement shoot scheduled - which was great to meet her, and also get comfortable in front of the camera (we were so nervous LOL)

As the wedding day approached, she made sure she knew all of our needs + wants, and was so responsive. Then, the day of, even with a few unplanned loops thrown our way, she was fabulous, she rolled with everything. She bobbed and weaved through the evening capturing everything we could have hoped for and more.

I wasn’t sure about many things in regards to my wedding planning but one thing I knew is that I didn’t want the typical wedding pictures. I wanted a more editorial, aesthetic, high end look and when I saw Zai’s IG I did not hesitate for a minute she was the one. There is a HUGE difference in the quality of her work and other wedding photographers!!! Huge!! I already liked her before meeting her and after meeting her I like her even more. She captures those special details and natural moments like no other. She is really nice, has a great and positive vibe. Do not hesitate to choose Zai as your photographer.  I will reiterate this, the difference between her work and other wedding photography is outstanding!

Zai is AMAZING!!! After months of searching on social media and wedding websites, we are so happy we chose Zai to be our wedding photographer. We knew we were going to love the photos based on previous weddings she’s done, but her great personality is an added bonus. Zai is the good energy you want around you on your wedding day, and makes you feel like you’re hanging out with an old friend. She’s extremely talented and genuinely cares about her couples. 10/10 Would recommend her to anyone I know.
