At Wezoree, we spend a lot of time evaluating photographers across the world, and the Bahamas is one market we've looked at closely. The talent here is stronger than most people expect. After going through the portfolios, reading the client feedback, and looking past the obvious highlight reels, we landed on five photographers we'd genuinely recommend. These are they. The full list is on Wezoree.

Braxton Gardiner

From the very first photograph he took in high school, Braxton Gardiner knew that photography was his calling. Twelve years later, it remains his sole focus: he works in the Bahamas and abroad, building a reputation as a master of cinematic, daring, and adventurous work. Harbour Island, Eleuthera, and Exuma are his favorite locations for shoots.

"I love being a wedding photographer because it lets me witness and preserve a single, honest moment in time — raw emotion, joy, and connection — that couples can return to for years," he says. Warm natural light, sweeping scenic shots alongside intimate large-scale close-ups, couples with a wild spirit captured in joyful, heartfelt moments against the backdrop of vast natural landscapes - this is the visual language he masters. Braxton prioritizes building strong relationships with his clients, believing that trust and mutual understanding are essential to capturing something authentic.

Presley Webb Photos

Presley Webb, known as Presley Webb Photos, is a photographer from Florida who is ready to travel the world. Over the course of her six-year career, she has combined an editorial eye with a documentary approach. She is drawn to those fleeting moments, so she purposefully captures them all for her couples and families to become eternal treasures.

What she enjoys most about her work is meeting new people. Open communication and getting to know one another - which help build trusting relationships throughout their collaboration - are the cornerstones of her approach. Europe and the West Indies are her favorite destinations for destination weddings.

CSM Photography

Civad S McQueen is based in the Bahamas and captures authentic moments with an editorial eye. He actually incorporates natural settings and provides thoughtful direction to enhance what’s already there. For him, photography began as a childhood hobby that naturally evolved into a career - in fact, CSM Photography.

With about five years of professional experience shooting weddings for both local and destination clients, he starts every wedding with a consultation to learn about the couple`s vision. Then, they have detailed discussions and use questionnaires to work out the details. Everything is planned, so the experience feels smooth enough. "What I enjoy most is being a part of such an important day in my clients' lives. There's a level of trust they place in me to capture it beautifully, and I take that seriously," he says.

Gaby Rguez

Gaby Rguez describes herself as a romantic at heart and has over 9 years of experience. Her work combines elements of fine art and photojournalism: dynamic and unconventional, she is imbued with a deep love for floral motifs and vintage finds. Her goal is to create photographs that are turned into prints, which in turn become family heirlooms. Gabi Rodríguez was born and raised in Havana, Cuba, and at 19 made the Bahamas her home.

She lives in Nassau but is always ready to pack her bags and set off on a journey for the sake of a wonderful love story. Thanks to her sense of humor and ability to connect with people, she helps nervous couples relax, resulting in moments that feel natural and spontaneous rather than staged. On the wedding day, Gaby promises to be a pillar of support and a source of calm no matter what happens, and goes far beyond photography by providing couples with detailed guides, advice, and vendor recommendations throughout the planning process.

Lyndah Wells

Lyndah Wells has been photographing weddings across the Bahamas for over 10 years, working with a dedicated team that clients consistently describe as treating them like royalty throughout the entire journey together.

Her style is bold, elegant, and editorial -carefree portraiture with real emotion woven through it, the kind of photos couples look back on with genuine pride. She believes life is a work of art, and that belief shows in how she shoots. The studio goes beyond digital files, offering albums, prints, and wall art, plus a free wedding planning guide to help couples navigate the process. Lyford Cay in Nassau and Coco di Mama in Eleuthera are among the Bahamian locations featured in her work.

The Bahamas will give you the backdrop. These five will give you the images you'll still love in twenty years. If you're looking for more than just a photographer, Wezoree has a full directory of vetted Bahamas wedding vendors ready to explore. Find them all atWezoree.com
