Toto Villaruel built his photography practice around a simple mission, which he states right on his homepage: "light, bright & beautiful." "I approach weddings in a calm and unobtrusive way," he says, "allowing the day to unfold naturally while paying close attention to the subtle in-between moments, the pauses, the glances, the quiet shifts in energy that often say more than anything posed or planned."
His entire visual language runs on natural light: "my work is centered around natural and available light, using what already exists to create photographs that feel soft, honest, and timeless." Even his portrait sessions stay deliberately light-touch: "I'll guide you when needed so you never feel unsure or awkward, offering just enough direction to create ease and connection without ever making it feel staged." What drives the work, ultimately, isn't the image itself: "my goal is not simply to document what it looked like, but to preserve how it felt."

Al and Marc founded ProudRad in 2015, having spent years shooting for another wedding studio in the Philippines and developing a style they describe as "rooted in intention, transcending the norm." They balance two instincts: creating "unconventional images while capturing the fleeting moments" a couple might otherwise miss, while also photographing them "as they are" within a narrative shaped by their surroundings, including lighting, architectural lines, and geometric patterns.
