Maë Sistermann
A background in graphic design and art direction isn’t the most common starting point for a wedding photographer, but for Maë Sistermann, that’s exactly how her career began. With ten years of experience in photography, the last five of which she has dedicated to weddings, her design sensibility permeates every shot she takes. She draws most of her inspiration from Provence and the south of France, though she is always open to discovering new locations.
" What I enjoy most is what it gives back to people. The trust they place in me, and the way they react when they receive their photos. Sometimes it’s very emotional, and that’s something that really stays with me," Maë says. Her work blends documentary and editorial approaches — composition, balance, and lighting she all take into account, but she never imposes a particular style. The editing remains true to reality: a consistent color palette, controlled contrast, and no artificial elements.
Diana Shevchyk Photography
Shevchyk’s earliest memory of photography is watching her grandfather developing film in the darkroom. That image stuck in her mind, and about nine years ago, after moving to Luxembourg, she turned that long-standing interest into her own photography business. Over ten years of photography work, she has focused on weddings and the genuine moments that make them worth remembering.
She describes her work as documentary storytelling, emotional realism, and the refined aesthetics of fine art. On the wedding day, she creates a natural and unobtrusive atmosphere, offering gentle guidance when needed. " I always encourage couples to stay present and fully enjoy their day with their guests rather than worrying about getting perfect photos," she says.
Andre Mitin
Today, Andre Mitin heads Lux Photo Pro in Luxembourg, combining an artistic vision with extensive production experience gained over 15 years in the industry. His work spans editorial, fashion, and cinematography. As he approaches each wedding shoot, he first aims to understand the couple’s vision and priorities, then guides them through the entire process. " For me, it's about creating something meaningful and lasting," he says.
Photography has been a part of his life since early childhood, as he comes from a family of photographers and began pursuing photography professionally at a young age. Over the years, he has built a career in commercial, fashion, and advertising photography, working as a chief photographer, art director, and instructor, and opening several photography studios along the way. For their light, architecture, and atmosphere, Italy and the south of France top Andre's list of favorite locations.
Anna Albu Photography
Anna Albu has been a wedding photographer for 17 years. This experience is evident in the natural ease with which she moves during a wedding photography session. She works in Luxembourg and throughout the Greater Luxembourg region.
Her goal is to capture genuine emotions the very moment they arise: sincere interactions, meaningful glances, and spontaneous laughter. Anna’s work is based on true, non-staged moments — without stiff poses or artificial facial expressions. She communicates with couples in advance to understand their vision, and on the day of the shoot, her presence is unobtrusive and calming, allowing them to enjoy the moment while she captures it.
Naderi Photography & Video
Shva and Sam are the duo behind the brand Naderi Photography & Video: she handles photography, and he handles videography. Their work combines elements of editorial and documentary photography: it features both spontaneous moments captured as they unfold and exquisite artistic shots with a unique character.
With experience of over 16 years in the industry, they first launched their business in Iran, and later expanded their operations worldwide: their portfolio includes Dubai, Turkey, Italy, Spain, New York, and Paris.
Wezoree’s honest take: the best wedding photo isn’t the technically perfect one, but the one that takes you back to that moment. The five photographers on this list understand this well.
