How Vendor Rankings Work on Wezoree

Visibility on Wezoree is not random. It is not determined by who joined first, who posts the most or who has the loudest presence elsewhere. Rather, it is built - deliberately and transparently - on the basis of profile quality, community contribution and the kind of long-term engagement that signals professionalism to couples researching them.

Here's exactly how it works.

Your Subscription Tier Sets the Foundation

Premium vendors always appear at the top of the Wezoree catalogue. Within that, the order follows the tier hierarchy: TOP vendors are listed first, followed by PRO, then LITE and finally BASIC. If two vendors are in the same tier, the one with the higher ranking score appears above the other.

The four tiers differ not only in placement but also in terms of what your profile can display. A profile that can showcase more has a higher conversion rate. With an active subscription, your full profile comes to life, including the Reviews section, Editorial Mentions, Interview, and Real Wedding features, all of which are visible and work in your favour. A profile without an active subscription loses that depth. Your portfolio is no longer shown in full, your profile drops to the bottom of the catalog, and the story you have spent years building becomes significantly harder for couples to find. An active subscription is not just about placement; it keeps your presence on the platform alive and effective.

The four tiers, from the most comprehensive to the starting point:

  • TOP is available to a limited number of vendors and represents the highest possible presence on Wezoree. Across all vendor categories, the TOP package includes a listing in two cities, the largest portfolio allowance on the platform, higher catalog placement, access to your website and social media, five editorial mentions, a guaranteed editorial interview and a guaranteed Real Wedding feature. It also includes Destination Placement, which puts your profile directly inside the destination hubs where couples planning international weddings are actively searching. The exact portfolio capacity varies by category, but the principle remains the same. TOP gives you the most space to showcase your work to the most relevant audience in the most places.
  • The PRO package is designed for vendors who want to stand out and be found. It includes a listing in two cities, a significantly expanded portfolio compared to entry-level tiers, higher catalog placement, access to your website and social media, three editorial mentions and a guaranteed editorial interview — the kind of in-depth feature that gives couples a real sense of who you are before they send you their first message. Portfolio specifics vary by category.
  • LITE opens up the channels that connect your Wezoree presence to the rest of your professional network. It includes a listing in one city, an expanded portfolio, higher catalogue placement, access to your website and social media, and editorial mentions, all of which make your profile more discoverable and your brand more visible.
  • BASIC is the perfect professional starting point. It includes a listing in one city, an editorially created profile, a basic portfolio, full control over your profile, eligibility for awards, and a link to your personal website.

Each tier includes the setup of an editorial profile and access to the Wezoree Awards system. The exact portfolio inclusions (number of photos and/or videos) are tailored to each vendor category and can be viewed on the pricing page. The difference between tiers lies in the depth and reach of the editorial features that transform a profile into a brand asset.

Within Your Tier, Your Ranking Is Earned

The position of each vendor at the same level is determined by their ranking score, once the tier has established their place in the catalogue hierarchy. Here, engagement, editorial recognition and community contribution all play a part.

Here's how points are accumulated:

  • Couples' Reviews are among the most powerful trust signals on the platform. Every review from a real client earns 2 points toward your score, and Wezoree recognizes review milestones with dedicated awards: 5 Reviews, 15 Reviews, 30 Reviews, and 50 Reviews. Each milestone is a visible badge of consistent client satisfaction on your profile.
  • Featured Wedding - submitting a Real Wedding you worked on earns 50 points and the Featured Wedding Award. It also gives couples direct, verifiable proof of your experience at specific venues and destinations.
  • Featured Vendor - vendors who have an editorial interview on the platform receive the Featured Vendor Award, worth 30 points. The interview itself is already a credibility asset; the award makes that status visible at a glance.
  • Editor's Choice is worth 200 points and is awarded by the Wezoree editorial team to vendors who stand out for creativity, innovation, and exceptional quality of service. This recognition is not applied for - it is given by our editors when the work earns it.
  • Industry Leader carries 300 points and is also awarded by our editorial team to vendors who have demonstrated exceptional influence, professionalism, and long-term excellence in the wedding industry. It honors those who set standards, not just meet them.
  • World's Best - Wezoree's most prestigious annual recognition, awarded across categories: World's Best Wedding Photographers, Videographers, Planners, Floral Designers, and Content Creators. At 350 points, these awards represent the highest level of acknowledgment the platform offers - a mark of artistic authority and global relevance.

How You Show Up in the World Also Counts

A vendor's ranking is shaped by more than just what happens on the platform; it also reflects the relationship between your presence on Wezoree and your broader professional footprint. Vendors who actively link the two are rewarded.

For example, publishing a post about Wezoree on your Instagram profile earns you 50 points. Adding a pinned @wezoree link to your Instagram bio earns you 80 points, reflecting the sustained visibility that a permanent link provides. Adding an external link to Wezoree from your own website earns you 150 points - the most you can earn for an engagement action - because a backlink from a professional website is one of the strongest credibility signals in both directions. If you found a client through Wezoree and want this to be reflected in your score, please contact our team directly so that we can ensure it is counted.

None of this is incidental. The vendors who are most visible in the Wezoree catalog are the ones who have built something substantial here: a complete profile, a record of genuine reviews, editorial recognition and a natural outward presence in channels where couples are also looking.

The Logic Behind It All

Wezoree's ranking system exists to help couples find the most committed and credible professionals first, and to reward vendors for the effort they put into their presence rather than just their budget size. Tier determines the starting point. Engagement, recognition and community contribution determine everything else.

The most visible vendors on Wezoree are not simply the ones who have spent the most. They are the ones who have invested the most in their profiles, client relationships and connection to the platform and the community around it.

This is the kind of visibility that is worth building.
