We really enjoyed having Brandi as our photographer. She brought such a unique and vibrant energy fr om the start, and honestly, energy is everything! Our first meeting was over video chat, wh ere we talked about what we were looking for, details about the wedding day, and just got to know each other a bit.
We did an engagement shoot with her at two locations that were easy to get to. It definitely helps if you already have a vision for the kind of scenery or vibe you want for your pictures so you can share that with Brandi ahead of time. We got our pictures back pretty quickly—sneak peeks came in about two weeks, and the full engagement gallery in about a month.
For our wedding, we booked her for 8 hours and also added a second shooter. If you have a big family, the hardest part is definitely figuring out the photo list for after the ceremony. It can get chaotic fast if it’s not organized.
One area where things could have been improved was during the moment the bride walked down the aisle. The MC announced for guests to stand, but based on the photo album, it seems better communication between the planner, the MC, and Brandi could have made this moment smoother. The guests appeared to need more direction, and the inconsistency in the photos suggests that clearer coordination ahead of time would have ensured a more polished result. In the photos the guests are sitting or just standing up once the bride reaches their row during bridal entrance and during couples exit everyone sat instead of standing to cheer us on.
