Planning a wedding is stressful as it is, and making the decision on who to trust and hire can be especially overwhelming because the photos will be your main keepsakes. We reviewed many photographers and I am so grateful we found and chose Teri! From the first call, she was calm, encouraging, and as excited as we were (even though she works in the wedding industry full time!). We have all of the lovely posed photos, and so much more- photos capturing the spontaneous and fleeting moments like the father-daughter dance, mother-son dance, and so many exchanges with our loved ones throughout the day. If you’re on the fence about scheduling an engagement session, I’d also like to recommend it. We decided to book one at the last minute about one month before our wedding because I felt anxious about looking stiff and unrelaxed in photos, and it was a huge help to practice with Teri! During my wedding day I also had a special moment with Teri when I joked about her capturing more on my “good side”, and she immediately squashed the negative self talk and helped me feel beautiful. It was worth every penny to have such a kind, artistic, and talented person responsible for capturing these once in a life time memories.

I want Teri to capture every life moment of mine!!! Teri is an amazing photographer and her approach is very unique in that she tells beautiful stories with her surroundings and the subjects. She uses shapes, lighting, colours, and movement to bring the most special moments to life that you can cherish forever after. I used Teri for my engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner, and wedding and it was an absolute pleasure. I was able to give full trust to her as a creative and she listened to every idea I had. Teri was the first vendor we booked for our wedding and it was the best decision we made. Each photo she creates is gorgeous and deeply personal. She managed to capture our goofiness while creating art, and that is pure magic. We still gasp with amazement and squeal with delight each time we look through our album. We are so glad that we trusted her to appreciate and capture the most meaningful day of our lives. The best part was that Teri feels like a true friend and she fit right in with our loved ones throughout the weekend. She also made sure we ate, didn’t miss the best light for photos, and even saved us dessert when we got carried away on the dance floor. If that isn’t wing man/fairy godmother energy, I don’t know what is. Teri has truly made our vision of the best wedding day come true! We had asked Teri to capture our candid and loving moment with family and friends, with a rustic desert chic vibe for our wedding in Joshua Tree. Despite the unexpected thunderstorm, moving the ceremony/reception locations, and drop of temperature, Teri managed to capture all the right moments and the amazing love we have experienced on the day. Teri were also able to get three different styles of photos AND covered all the grounds by herself! She was like a one person 3-photographer team for us. Absolutely love working with her and would recommend her to anyone else for their big day. Ask for film if you want something special and unique. Thank you Teri!

Teri shot my engagement photos in downtown Oakland and my 15 July 2023 wedding at the San Francisco Mint. She did an outstanding job. The photos speak for themselves, but I want to emphasize how kind, thoughtful, and intentional she is. I asked for photos that really captured the relationships between people, and the feel of the day, more so than portraits. She really delivered. The day was hectic and there were some last minute crises, as with every wedding, and Teri was able to roll with all of it. Before, during, and after the wedding, I felt Teri's dedication and support. She answered questions I had in the months leading up to the wedding, she was present and flexible the day of, and she has been sweet and responsive since then as well.
Teri is a top tier photographer and her prices reflect that. For me, it was more than worth the cost. If photos are at all important to you, this is the vendor to splurge on.
