We planned our NOLA wedding having never been and completely hopeful that it would all just fall into place. I found Olivia on Instagram and immediately was gravitated to her photography. Each image had heart and emotion. It also felt authentic and unique to each couple she was shooting. With luck she was available and we were able to have her shoot out special day. My husband and I both are not…well…good at having pictures taken of us haha. We tend to err on the side of awkward. So I was a bit nervous to have someone I was meeting for the first time on my wedding day capture images of us. I trusted her talent but worried about our performance haha. Immediately, Olivia had such a professional, kind and commanding presence. Our wedding was small and I had a tendency to take a laissez-faire approach to most things surrounding the day. She really helped me organize and streamline the process to ensure our time was well spent and I ended the evening having all the moments I wanted captured while also being present with our guests. My favorite moment with Olivia was when my 3 year old daughter was feeling overwhelmed and overstimulated and within minutes of walking down the aisle desperately needed a moment to just be with me. Well intentioned guests were trying to distract her to help keep things moving. I feel Olivia really read the situation and what me and my daughter both needed but didn’t know how to say. She kindly asked everyone to give us a moment. So tucked away in room we sat and hugged. Olivia quietly gave us space to process and be present with one another and ultimately captured some of my favorite pictures of the day. I remember leading up to the wedding day reading a beautiful post Olivia wrote about her grandma. In it she said how much photos truly matter and how they only appreciate in value over time. She was so right. I am Forever grateful that the stars aligned that we could have her be a part of our day. I recommend her with zero reservations and only pure enthusiasm! **Also, of note: Olivia was around 34 weeks pregnant at the time of our wedding. What a freaking rock star!

I feel so lucky that I had Olivia take photos at my wedding. I don't consider myself a very aesthetically-minded person, and while I can distinguish good from bad, I have a hard time with good vs. great. This made it pretty hard to pick a wedding photographer! But I really connected with Olivia over the phone, especially when I shared some of my complicated feelings and general ambivalence about the wedding industrial complex. Olivia’s use of technology and standard planning processes ensured a seamless experience. I had never had professional photos taken, but she and Alika made me and my partner feel comfortable in front of the camera, and were able to authentically capture our relationship. The outcome was tremendous and I will treasure the memories she helped us document for the rest of my life. After sharing my pictures with friends and family, I now realize I really did get a great photographer, not just a good one.

Book her. Just book her. Olivia provides photography that tells the story of your wedding day. It's not just smiling and posing with family...you can feel the day when you see the photos. Additionally, Olivia is able to direct and advise through the process and the day very professionally. She is not loud or outspoken, does not overwhelm with her presence, but makes all the magic happen so well. I could go on and on about all the reasons I'd hire her again a million times. Highly recommend!

I’d hire her again in a heartbeat! Olivia is thoughtful and considerate. She is also an efficient and professional communicator. She has a calm spirit which is what I needed to balance the chaos of the day, but she had no trouble commanding the space she needed to the important work I hired her to do…such a breath of fresh air. The product she delivered was second to none. I am still not over how perfectly she captured our day! Did I mention she was 8 months pregnant at our wedding? She was SUCH A CHAMP. Highly recommend her. She was the absolute best.

You will not regret picking Olivia for your wedding photography! We had a small, intimate wedding and Olivia captured the emotions perfectly. She is so easy to work with and such a calm presence on a day which can be a bit stressful. We were able to have so many locations and styles of photographs done in such a short time - she knows her way around New Orleans! My husband and I can't say enough good things about her and everyone is so impressed with the photos!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Olivia! Olivia captured the most beautiful engagement photos, rehearsal dinner photos, and wedding photos. She uses digital, film, and polariod cameras (which already sets her apart from all other photographers), and has a way of capturing true emotion in her work. I LOVED working with her! She does an amazing job of balancing the more posed photos (that your mom wants) with more artistic/candid photos. Our photos look like they belong in a magazine. Additionally, she delivers her photos so quickly! Within 48 hours, she had already delivered more than 70 absolutely beautiful previews. Olivia truly understood our vision and brought it to life through photos!

Perhaps the best review of Olivia’s work we can offer is the collective response from all our friends and family with whom we’ve shared pictures over the first six months of our marriage. “Your photographer was AMAZING!!” “All of these pictures are SO good - she did an outstanding job.” “Where can I see more of these??!" Not only are we happy with our wedding photos, but Olivia was great to interact with all day long. She was grounded, steady, encouraging, nimble and quick, and she directed us clearly and comfortably, never sacrificing quality whatsoever. We were so grateful for this; it allowed us to enjoy the day so much more. We have loved sharing the physical photos and prints we received and overall we were incredibly happy with our choice of Olivia as our wedding photographer!

Working with Olivia was an amazing experience. She made us feel seen and heard as a couple and really paid attention to the things that made us uniquely us. It is completely captured in her beautiful work. You can see the joy, the love, and the many tears of our wedding. We by no means had a big budget wedding but I feel like it was captured so well it could be in a wedding magazine. From the intimate attention to detail to the fun shots at the end of the night it was all captured beautifully. We are so pleased that these are the photos we will have to remember our wedding by. In a more practical sense, Olivia was also a vital component of our planning process. She was involved in our timeline creation and it helped us not feel rushed throughout the event. We cannot recommend her services strongly enough. Her work is high quality and as she further establishes herself in New Orleans I imagine her work will be in high demand.

I have nothing but great things to say about Olivia! From the moment she showed up (early which I love) she was helpful, thoughtful, respectful and an absolute dream to work with. She gives amazing direction, reminds you during wedding chaos of the pictures you forgot you wanted and most importantly captures your day better than you can ever imagine! Give Olivia some freedom and she will make your dreams come true!!
