Top 30 For over 100 years the George Ballroom has been the backdrop for Melbourne’s most memorable events. In 2015, the venue was lovingly restored to its original period charm by DAMM FINE FOOD Co. who still operate the venue today. This one of a kind venue is basked in natural light and features hardwood floors, ornate high ceilings and heritage distressed walls. Centrally located in the George Building, on Fitzroy Street, St Kilda, our venue can host up to 150 Guests for a seated dining experience (complete with dance floor) or up to 200 guests for stand up cocktail parties.
