As soon as we saw Danelle’s portfolio we knew no one else would compare for our big day. Danelle is a wonderfully gifted photographer who has an amazing eye for capturing every precious moment in the most exquisite way. Being fellow Kiwi’s we were over the moon when it worked out that she and Dirk could shoot our wedding in France. Due to being based on other sides of the world we only met them once over Skype the big day Adam and I felt immediately at actually like we had been long lost friends! Danelle and Dirk were professional, fun-loving, down to earth and a dream to work with. Our photographs live and breathe what a truly magical weekend it was, and Danelle and Dirk captured those moments in the most exceptional way.
We could not praise them and their work high enough and would not hesitate to recommend Danelle and Dirk for any special occasion.

Danelle and her husband Dirk are a talented and creative team, there is no stress, no barking orders, they feel like old friends who are just happily snapping away. They are both extremely professional and in all my dealings with them I knew I could trust them to deliver some amazing photographs no matter what! Danelle even skyped me all the way in Broome years away from my wedding to answer my questions and just chat. It is this personal connection Danelle makes with all of her brides which I feel really shines through in her photographs and is present before and even after your wedding day. When I look at my wedding photographs I don’t just see beautiful pictures, I feel the love that I was surrounded by on that day, the human connection, emotion and joy which makes every wedding unique and special. Even the most ordinary everyday scenes of home on my wedding day appear charmed, and have at times moved me to tears. Danelle and Dirk you guys are the best, and I speak on behalf of James and our families that we wouldn’t trust anyone else to capture these monumental life moments. Thank-you for not just documenting a special day but for capturing the magic.

We had long dreamt of having Danelle Bohane document our wedding. Danelle has a particularly special way of capturing the essence of the day, as well as all of the intimate moments, details and emotions in-between. Her photographs are timeless and beautiful, each a piece of art in its own right.
What we found amazing was how Danelle managed to produce such exquisite images while being so relaxed with her direction, which made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. On top of this, she was such a pleasure to work with – incredibly efficient, helpful and a complete joy to be around on our wedding day. We will treasure our wedding photos for the rest of our lives.
