My love for photojournalism began in my hometown of St. Petersburg, Russia, where I studied cultural arts and photography. It was then that I fell in love with the beauty of classical art and the interplay of light and color.
After I moved to Maryland, I pursued my passion for fine arts and studied film at the New York Institute of Photography.
As my career progressed, I began to lean towards photojournalism for personal events and weddings, where I paid close attention to ambient and artificial lighting. I try to create images that capture the essence of the event, where each image is part of a larger story.

Olga is not only an amazing photographer but an awesome person to have around on your big day. While taking photos she will put you at ease with her cheerful personality and is able to direct you in a calm and reassuring manner, a very important quality for those of us that are not that comfortable in front of the camera. We met Olga because we won a free engagement shoot with her and ended up loving her photos and joyful personality so much we booked her for our wedding - and I am so glad we did! We have only gotten the sneak peeks back so far, but they are incredible. We have gotten so many compliments on our photos, as Olga has a great eye for light, texture and movement. I cannot recommend Olga highly enough! You will not regret going with her as your photographer.
Olga photographed my wedding this past Friday and she was beyond amazing!! She was so attentive and made sure to capture every special moment with the best quality. Olga was an absolute delight and a pleasure to work with when we hired her for our engagement photos! Every communication we had was reassuring, professional, and could tell there was a lot of care and understanding with what we were looking for. Our engagement session with Olga has been a very enjoyable experience even though the weather was terrible. She suggested great locations in the DC downtown area and we even went to the museum and took some pictures on the beautiful staircase inside. We had 2 outfits to change and had plenty of time to change and move from one location to another. We have a gorgeous album now with our engagement pictures in the Washington DC. Olga had a lot of tricks on how to “get us in the mood”. That was a wonderful experience. I will definitely recommend this vendor as a great professional who is excellent at what she does.
We had Olga take our engagement photos in Bethesda Row and they turned out beautiful! Olga took the time to scout the area beforehand to find the perfect spots. She was always aware where the sun light was and positioned us in flattering poses. She was professional throughout the shoot and with the follow up. Don’t hesitate to book her!
