Whether it be by my own parents or a professional, I always felt the photos were a bit awkward and forced. The only photos that ever seemed authentic to me were the ones that were almost taken by surprise, in the moment. It's those candid pictures... the ones that make life feel like a movie that made me fall in love with photography.
