When we first interviewed Jo, we still had other photographers to meet with, but we cancelled our other — we knew right away that she was going to be the perfect fit for us. We were choosing a photographer for our “post-covid” celebration, so not only were we already married, but we had already worked with another photographer. After our first mini celebration, we knew that it was going to be important to find a photographer who wasn’t just talented, but also had a great personality. We found both of those traits in Jo.
Jo was prompt in all communications and in her wedding day timelines. She helped us to figure out a schedule that would keep us on time, but still maintained an easy, go-with-the-flow vibe. As the bride, one of my big priorities was to enjoy the day with as little stress as possible, and Jo helped to make that dream a reality through her timeliness and her sense of humor. Jo truly kept us laughing and smiling all day. Jo was an absolute pleasure to have photograph our wedding day. Not only did we come out of the experience with gorgeous photos that captured our day perfectly, but we had the joy of having Jo alongside us on our wedding day. We would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Jo was awesome to work with! We had our engagement photos done and the whole process was wonderful. Jo was flexible and very prompt answering all our questions. We were extremely pleased with all of our photos. I would definitely recommend booking with Dream a Little Big Photography!

We reached out to Jo in 2019 when we were planning our summer 2020 wedding. From the beginning she was a pleasure to work with, kind, thoughtful, communicative, and helpful as we were planning the details of the wedding. Then of course, the pandemic happened and all of our plans were derailed. Jo was extremely flexible, understanding, patient, and worked with us while we were trying to figure out a new 2021 date (something that I, unfortunately, can’t say the same about other wedding vendors during this time). After we picked our new date and Jo was flexible and generous enough to still shoot, we decided last minute to still have a small ceremony that same summer. Again, Jo was totally on board with also shooting this smaller ceremony and hyped us up leading up to it. For both the small 2020 ceremony and our big 2021 wedding, she was the absolute best. She has a way of making her couples feel extremely comfortable even if you’re generally camera shy. She is organized and helps keep you on track the day of the wedding while also making shooting photos so fun and joyful. The photos came out GORGEOUS and BREATHTAKING both times!!!! She also was quick with getting us our photos!! She really does an amazing job at capturing the moment and the love. You can tell she genuinely cares about her couples and is passionate about her work. I highly highly recommend Jo!!! Cannot say enough good things about her, her work, her attitude, EVERYTHING!! Both my husband and I can't say enough about Jo! She was so thorough and kind. Since we had a short engagement, Jo was happy to edit our package to accommodate our needs. When we finally met Jo the day of the wedding, it was almost like we had known her forever. Working with her was so comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to get professional pictures taken. I still have family members awing over our wedding pictures. Jo is the best!
Absolutely amazing. Jo photographed our wedding last weekend and we were blown away by her photos, her ability to bring out the best in all of us, and how enjoyable she made the whole day. She is so sweet and an excellent photographer! Highly recommend for all of your photo needs!
My husband and I were your typical Covid Couple: Moved the date twice in 2020 and then pushed it to June 2021. Jo was so supportive through all of the changes and helped so much with planning and making sure our day ran smoothly. She captured the most special moments perfectly and the final pictures were beyond our expectations. She is so professional and warm, you can’t go wrong booking Jo for your special day!
Jo put a lot of love and care into her work with us. She met us a few weeks before and sent a questionnaire to get a sense of what exactly we would want on our wedding day. Her work is vibrant, natural, and very beautiful. My mother says the photos are so good as if they were from a wedding magazine!! Work with her!

Jo's shooting and editing style is initially what drew us in but her creativity and wonderful personality hooked us from the first phone call. Jo is bubbly, fun, creative, genuine, caring, hilarious, versatile, and will genuinely do anything it takes to make her couples/clients feel comfortable and capture exactly what they are looking for. Plans for our special day changed a million times (COVID brides can feel us on this one) even on the day of (traffic and such made us 2 hours late) - Jo just went with the flow, offered her help in any way she could, was super patient and helped ease the stresses of the day. She has become more like a friend than just a photographer since we began working with her. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and everyone for all your photography needs!
