8 years I studied photography in college, and have continued my education by taking a variety of classes each year. I’ve studied cinematography and editing with Oscar winners (Russell Carpenter and Tom Rolf) and learned documentary storytelling with a 60 Minutes producer (Mimi Edmunds.) I started my career as a producer at Fox35 and ABC8 before spending about a decade in education teaching videography and photography. My production experience has trained me to look for candid moments and made me a stronger storyteller. Because of my background, I will be spending part of your day using my directorial skills. I’m happy to kindly take charge to efficiently organize family formals and wedding party portraits and to make sure your couple portraits look flattering and organic. But at other times, I love to be a fly on the wall and document moments as they naturally unfold.
