Over the last 7 years I have booked and worked with over 40 film photographers around the world. On rare occasions, I have booked a photographer that I have worked with before to meet me at a new location, rather than expanding my artistic horizons. Olya is such an exception, as we have worked together 8 times in different cities across Europe and I undoubtedly look forward to working with her again in the future.

Why should you book Olya? If you weren’t already persuaded by her portfolio, the answer is simple: Olya doesn’t just care about taking good photos. She devotes herself to it and every step of the process.

The energy and passion she has are infectious and her positivity will have you believing that everything is possible; even when the clouds open with pouring rain, a venue unexpectedly revokes permission to shoot, or you’re all suffering heat stroke in 40°C summer sun. She'll do her best to ensure that you are not just relaxed, but that you are actually enjoying the shoot.

Her devotion starts even before the shoot; while you create and exchange ideas on mood boards. She is probably the most organized photographer I have ever worked with. In the days before the shoot, she prepares thoroughly by scouting out the location(s) for conditions like lighting, construction and crowd size so she can create a plan to ensure everything is captured in its best possible light.

This isn’t to say she isn’t also spontaneous. She’s always on the lookout for beautiful opportunities and she’ll also enthusiastically listen to all your ideas, and will be transparent about why some things might not work the way you want. She finds great angles (sometimes requiring her to pull off the occasional ninja pose) that are extremely flattering, and the way she captures motion in her images is perfection. No matter what, she will do everything in her power to deliver everything you wished for and more, and when you receive your photos you’ll be glad you entrusted your day to her.

Olya is amazing! She replied to me the same day I requested her to take photos for my engagement/proposal. I was stressing to find the perfect photographer to capture our magical moment. I found her through instagram and was very pleased with her portfolio. Even though she was very busy that week, she made time to take pictures of my engagement before we had to leave Barcelona. It was always my fiance's dream to get proposed out of the country, and It was also my first time setting up a project outside of the country. Olya made everything easy, we just had to show up!! I wanted to find the perfect location and she suggested many amazing ideas, and I was super happy with the results. My fiance and I aren't used to having a photoshoot, but Olya guided us and everything felt natural! The photos turned out exactly the way we wanted. Nos decantamos por Olya para fotografiar nuestra boda a través de Instagram. Sus fotos son una pasada y ella es encantadora así que no fue una decisión difícil de tomar. Sin embargo, y a pesar de las altas expectativas que teníamos, consiguió sorprendernos incluso más con su trabajo y su fantástica actitud. He de decir que era un día muy lluvioso en Galicia y la atmosfera de las fotos es tan romántica y dulce que hasta la lluvia queda bien en sus fotos.
Tanto es así que repetimos con ella para la boda de mi sobrino el año siguiente  y para varios eventos corporativos en mi trabajo. Siempre haciendo unas fotos preciosas y con la mejor de las actitudes.

My husband and I had a Catholic wedding ceremony in a very old, dark, gothic-like church. Having seen her airy and light photos, as well as natural/candid ones, I knew she was the photographer for us.
