11 years The motivation to start a wedding planning business came about after planning my own wedding, after given a nudge from my sister and support from my husband and family. I had a rather simple wedding celebration, but my attention to detail got on the nerves of some people around me. I was working in the marketing communications team of a hotel back then. Through my time in the hospitality industry, I have had the experience of organising events for the media, knowledge of some wedding vendors, as well as printers and designers. So, these experience gave me the courage to transit into wedding planning. I had the honour of planning a wedding of a renowned Singaporean food influencer. I got to know her from my time in the hospitality industry, and she was so kind to give me the opportunity to plan her wedding.

Her experience in this industry really shows especially with all the reliable vendors she recommended when we had no preference and yet, she was also more than happy to work with new vendors when we preferred. She took time to understand our preference and in the end, our attire, florals, venue and makeup were all done by vendors she sourced for us.
I also cannot count the number of times she saved the day especially the multiple times when my wedding dress plans fell apart because I had my own ideas
