I started Amy Abbott Events almost 15 years ago after moving to Los Cabos and realizing there was a space for someone who could bridge cultures, speak the language, and truly guide couples through the experience of planning a destination wedding. My background isn’t the traditional “I went to school for event planning” story; it was born from being resourceful, resilient, and saying yes to helping people celebrate. That first wedding was modest compared to the multi-day events we produce today, but it inspired me. I saw how much impact thoughtful planning, honest communication, and a calm presence could have on a couple’s experience. What inspired me then is what still inspires me now: the ability to create not just a beautiful event, but a sense of trust and joy for families who have invited me to be a part of one of the most important days of their lives.
