Had our 70-person wedding here. SSS is a very special place, unique in that you can rent the entire property and host 30-60 of your guests there. It's absolutely picturesque, the facilities are top notch, and it needs very little in terms of decor. We had our welcome dinner here with wood-fired pizza, our ceremony under a stunning 100-year old walnut tree, our dinner on the gorgeous patio, our reception in the barn, and our late night in the distillery cellar. The next day, we had a pool party with taco truck and frosé. Not sure where else you could do all that and have the people that matter most all stay on property with you. A hotel/resort would be triple the cost and way less special and unique. If you are after a luxury summer camp vibe for your wedding, and want things to feel intimate and unique, def consider SSS. There's a lot of value here compared to other wedding options that really gouge you while giving you less, forcing you to bring in more rentals, and lock you into their vendors at a markup. The flipside - you will have to “produce” aka diy some of your own wedding. If you want to be 100% handheld, this may not be for you. But if you aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty, at least a bit, full speed ahead.

Triple S Ranch was the PERFECT location for our wedding - we couldn't have imagined a more beautiful site and surroundings! The fact that ~50 of our guests could stay on site for the weekend was a tremendous plus - when we arrived on Friday it meant that we could settle in for the weekend and just relax. Downtown Calistoga with plenty of boutique accommodation options is also very close by for the rest of your guests.
Given you're renting it for the weekend it gives you a perfect canvas to plan celebrations the way you want them, from a Friday welcome party through to the big wedding day. The walnut tree is a magical place to tie the knot, all of the cabins are beautifully furnished, and the barns for dancing are just incredible. The whole site is so photogenic!
Note that they do require you to use approved vendors, and the site is more complex than other venues given all the aspects, so be sure to work with a wedding coordinator and other key vendors (e.g., catering, DJ/music) who are very familiar with Triple S so they can help execute the perfect weekend for you!

My wife and I got married at Triple S in September of 2023. The property was absolutely beautiful and we were so happy we picked it as our venue. The onsite housing accommodations were perfect for our families to be able to stay on the property, which made it easier to spend and enjoy more time with them. The weather was warm in Calistoga during that time of year, but not unbearably hot. We were super happy with how our pictures turned out, thanks to all the amazing backdrops that the property has to offer.
We wish it was easier to book an extra night for a small amount of guests, but they require you to book the entire venue. We also wish the late night fee wasn't so expensive, but we had a ton of fun anyways.

We got married at SSS Ranch in the spring of 2023. As you would hope for everyone on their wedding day, our wedding went absolutely perfectly - not just the day off, but across the 5-day weekend we were at the Ranch. The property is absolutely stunning, the staff was really great to work with, and our vendors and partners really went above and beyond to make it the most perfect experience. I cannot recommend the property enough and I hope I have reason to rent it again in the future!
